On Wednesday, September 4, 2013, UFC Fight Night 28 will hit the airwaves from the Jornalista Felipe Drumond Stadium in Bel Horizonte, Minas Gerias, Brazil. In the main event of the evening, Brazilian slugger Glover Teixeira will square off against heavy-handed wrestler Ryan Bader in a Light Heavyweight tilt. Teixeira is a scary striker who hasn’t lost a fight since 2005, but Bader’s mix of power punching and dominant wrestling will be a tough test for him as he attempts to cement himself as a title contender at 205 pounds.

In the semi-main event, submission ace Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza will face bruising wrestler Yushin “Thunder” Okami in a featured Middleweight bout. Jacare is a very underrated boxer and one of the best submission grapplers in the sport, but Okami’s dominant top control and ground and pound, coupled with his technically solid boxing, make him a tough opponent for anyone. Rounding out the card is a Flyweight matchup pitting Joseph Benavidez against Brazil’s own Jussier da Silva.
