Phil Baroni’s run in Bellator has quickly come to an end.
According to sources close to the promotion, Bellator recently released Baroni after losing via first-round TKO to Karo Parisyan in his promotional debut last month.
Baroni initially announced the news via his Twitter account, however, he has since deleted those tweets. He did some Twitter venting though, which appears to be tied to the news:

Prior to the loss, Baroni had not fought since May 2013 when he suffered a gruesome ankle injury in a loss to Nobutatsu Suzuki at ONE FC 9. The UFC, PRIDE, Cage Rage, EliteXC, Strikeforce (among others) veteran has now lost three in a row.
