Tim Kennedy has said he is stunned he wasn’t offered a fight with Vitor Belfort, and is willing to help Jacare Souza, who faces Belfort in May, with training.
UFC middleweight contender Tim Kennedy has been very vocal when it comes to users of performance enhancing drugs (PEDs). Especially fellow 185-pounders Vitor Belfort and Yoel Romero, who have both tested positive for PEDs in the past. Kennedy has been out of action since a controversial TKO loss to Romero in September 2014 but has been eyeing a big matchup with Belfort or a rematch with “The Solider of God.”
Belfort was recently set up to fight top ranked Ronaldo Souza in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Brazil later this year, and the United States Army veteran isn’t pleased with that.
I am in stunned disbelief that I didn’t get this fight @vitorbelfort is dodging me.

Kennedy was defeated by Jacare at Strikeforce: Houston in 2010, but still offered to help the Brazilian prepare for his upcoming fight with Belfort.
@JacareMMA if you need help getting ready for @vitorbelfort let me know. I’ll be there.

Jacare and Belfort will face off on May 14th at UFC Fight Night 87.
