Most of you think it’s easy to prevent injuries in the training room. But as you can see in the video embedded above courtesy of MMA Heat, it isn’t as easy as you think.

Striking coach Jason Parillo was on the receiving end of Michael Bisping’s spinning wheel kick, which was supposed to hit the pads. But, coach and student weren’t in sync with their timing, which resulted in “The Count” jaw-jacking his trainer with a devastating kick to the kisser.

Thankfully, Parillo — who is a former boxer — was able to absorb the blow, shake it off and continue with the session.

The two men were working up a sweat at the UFC Gym in Torrance, California in the lead-up to Bisping’s much-anticipated Middleweight showdown against former division kingpin, Anderson Silva, which is set to go down in the main event of UFC Fight Night 84 on Feb. 27, 2016 in London, England.
