Rafael dos Anjos is riled up and he’s taking no prisoners.
In the wake of a possible welterweight rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor at the UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) this July, the current lightweight champion took to Twitter to voice his frustrations with matchmakers.
@UFCONFOX Mcgregor vs Diaz 2 make no sense, I would beat theses 2 guys on the same night

Of course, it was “RDA” who was slated to face off with the reigning featherweight titleholder McGregor in a UFC 196 headliner contested at 155-pounds earlier this month, but the Brazilian was ousted from the bout because of injury.
“Notorious” mocked dos Anjos in the aftermath of his pull-out and was then pitted against late replacement Nate Diaz, who he nearly came to blows with before their Las Vegas main event. McGregor and Diaz eventually went to battle inside the Octagon, which resulted in an upset win for the Stockton slugger and major bucks in UFC president Dana White’s pockets.
Now that dos Anjos has been denied his wish for a clash with 170-pound champion Robbie Lawler, it seems as if the Kings MMA product is in a holding pattern. Could he face No. 1 lightweight contender Eddie Alvarez at UFC 200?
Alvarez may know something.
