Thoughts: My bargain hunting for this event could best be summarized as an endless loop of Tina’s moan from “Bob’s Burgers.” I can’t find a single set of stand out lines, which means we’re going to have to rely on parlaying heavy favorites again.
Lee could be one of them.
Though he’s let me down before, Lee figures to have pretty much every conceivable advantage over Escudero, who turned in a dreadful performance against Leandro Silva his last time out and lacks the power to test Lee’s shaky chin. “The Motown Phenom’s” about as safe a bet as you can find here.
Vick might be worth a look as well, partially because I dislike him for his team affiliation and getting money would soften the blow of another victory. His length and takedown defense ought to give Franca fits.

Thoughts: Johnson is going to defend his title once again and he’s going to make it look easy. Cejudo may have the superior wrestling pedigree, but he’s not anywhere near as adept at blending his takedowns into his striking as Johnson is. I fully expect him to wilt under Johnson’s pace like so many before, so be sure you’re in position to benefit.
Whittaker seems like a decent investment as well, packing the best striking that Rafael Natal has ever had to deal with. Parlaying him with the aforementioned Vick produces positive odds, which strikes me as a sound investment.
