The latest chapter in the ongoing saga between Conor McGregor and the UFC has been written.
“The Notorious” one, who was pulled from his 170-pound rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 200, which was originally scheduled to be the main event of the landmark event, returned to social media on Sunday morning to take another shot at the UFC.
McGregor wrote the following on his official Instagram page:
“Nobody gives a fuck about these other fights until this one is settled. Cut the bullshit. Run it back. #RealFight”
As noted, when McGregor refused to take part in his promotional commitments around the Diaz rematch, UFC decided to pull him from the UFC 200 event. The new main event for UFC 200 will be a rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.
UFC 200 is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
