Anderson Silva will not compete this Saturday night at UFC 198.
Just days before his scheduled bout with Uriah Hall, Silva was forced out according to a report by Yahoo! Sports.
The former UFC middleweight champion may need gall bladder surgery after experiencing abdominal pain.
UFC president Dana White confirmed the news and Silva will be looked at by UFC medical consultant Jeff Davidson for a potential gall bladder surgery.
White added that they are working on securing a new opponent for Hall to keep him on the card this weekend.
UFC 198 features Fabricio Werdum vs. Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title, along with the Octagon debut of Cris “Cyborg” Justino.
