Ideally, he would love to face newly-minted Middleweight champion Michael Bisping; however, since Dana White and Co. are leaning toward booking a rematch between “The Count” and Dan Henderson, he’ll settle for anyone else.

As “All American” recently told MMA Junkie, he’ll be at MSG waiting for a fight … any fight.
“I’ll be at Madison Square Garden waiting for whoever wants it. Bisping doesn’t want it. You know, it was my title shot and he had the opportunity because of me. Now he’s trying to fight the thirteenth ranked guy in the division. It’s good for him. Good for him, man. Fight anybody you want. He’s trying to get a ‘W’ under his belt. Hey, if he can make it happen, good for him. I’m not going to cry about it, honestly.”
Weidman was set to rematch former 185-pound champion Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 earlier this month, but an unfortunate neck injury forced him out of the title fight that ultimately paved the way for Bisping to shock the world.
Despite Weidman’s constant attempts to lure “The Count” into a title fight, the brash Brit stood firm in his stance that Weidman needed to get back into the win column — or stop ducking this guy — before getting another shot at gold.
He already has preferred location, anyone care to throw out some potential challengers?
