Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to the pay-per-view (PPV) market last Sat. night (Aug. 20, 2016) in Las Vegas, Nevada, with its highly-anticipated UFC 202 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which saw Conor McGregor even the score with welterweight nemesis Nate Diaz.
Time for a lightweight trilogy?
In the co-main event, Anthony Johnson cemented his place as the next light heavyweight title contender by smashing and trashing Glover Teixeira. With Jon Jones sidelined until further notice, “Rumble” will move on to fight reigning champion Daniel Cormier later this year.
