“Lightning” strikes!

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight contender, Bryan Caraway, is suddenly the loneliest guy in the 135-pound division. Probably because everyone in the top 10 (see it here) — both above him and below him — is moving on to their next assignments.

That includes this title shot.

The one fight Caraway was hoping to secure was a 135-pound throw down against division power puncher John Lineker, but the Brazilian was instead paired off against TJ Dillashaw for UFC 207, which takes place this December in Las Vegas, Nevada (more on that fight here).

Caraway (21-7) is currently 6-2 under the UFC banner and was last seen capturing a decision win over Aljamain Sterling back in May. No doubt UFC matchmakers Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard will strike a deal for “Kid Lightning” in the coming weeks (if not days), but it also looks like “El Terror” may already have plans.

Something is in the works for myself to fight, once I get the green light I will announce it on social media.
