According to Dana White, Ronda Rousey remains silent about her immediate fighting future.
More months go by where the MMA world is not hearing anything about Ronda Rousey. In her last Octagon appearance last December at UFC 207, she was badly beaten by reigning women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.
Media members during last Saturday’s UFC 210 post-fight scrum expectedly threw out questions about her return towards Dana White’s way. According to the UFC president, he has not yet heard from Rousey about anything regarding a next fight.
“Ronda and I talk maybe once a week, once every two weeks. She has not said anything to me about a comeback,” White said (via MMA Junkie).
Rousey has dropped hints about a possible return through previous Instagram posts. White, however, had repeatedly declared in the past that he believes “Rowdy” may already be done with her career as a fighter, and it is a stance that he still holds.
“If I had to guess, I would guess that she will not come back.”
