Nick Diaz has been released from jail after being arrested Thursday evening (May 24, 2018) in Las Vegas for alleged domestic violence.
According to a search of inmates at the Clark County (Nev.) Detention Center conducted by MMAjunkie, Diaz is no longer in custody. His bail was previously set at $18,000.
Despite his release, Diaz still has a long road ahead of him. Complete details of the alleged assault have not been released as of yet, so we’re not too sure what exactly transpired. The alleged victim is also throwing rumors out there that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star was on cocaine the night of his arrest.
Diaz has not officially commented on the allegations or his recent release from jail, but did post a video to his Instagram account earlier today (Sat., May 26, 2018), which can be seen above courtesy of Fancy Combat.
The video doesn’t offer any audio from Diaz outside of some rock music, but the California native does show off his injured elbow, which has been oozing puss for a over a week.
Only time will tell what exactly went down earlier this week between Diaz and his woman friend. Whatever does come of it, you better believe UFC will handle the situation with extreme care and precise action.
