A drunk teenager caused a fatal accident on a highway in Moscow that led to the death of a retired MMA fighter.
Egor Lyachenkov, the grandson of the former Vice President of automobile manufacturer AvtoVAZ, Nikolai Lyachenkov, was reportedly driving at over 100 km/hour when his Mercedes crashed into another car at high speed. The 19-year-old was allegedly drunk at the time and drove through a red light with his girlfriend in the car before crashing into a Hyundai Solaris. The driver of the Hyundai died at the scene from his injuries.
The entire incident was caught on surveillance cameras.

Reports later verified that the deceased driver was Bayli Kurbanmedov, a former boxer and MMA fighter who had recently retired to join the Federal Penitentiary Service inn Moscow. Prior to the accident, the athlete was out celebrating his new job with his friends.
Lyachenkov refused to undergo a medical examination at the scene of the crime and was later detained by the police.
