Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to visit South Carolina for the first time ever, as the promotion intends to stage a Fight Night event on June 22, 2019 in Greenville, SC.
According to the official press release, the event will go down from inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena and will air exclusively on ESPN+. While there isn’t a main event confirmed at this time, the promotion has already booked a couple of fights.
Among them are top ten women’s Flyweight contender Andrea Lee taking on Montana de La Rosa, who is 3-0 so far inside the Octagon. Elsewhere on the card, Bryan Barberana will return to take on Randy Brown. Plus, Allen Crowder — who picked up his first UFC win via disqualification against Greg Hardy — will face undefeated (7-0, 1-0 UFC) Heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
Members of UFC Fight Club (join here) can scoop tickets up on Wednesday (May. 1, 2019) at 10 a.m. PT, while subscribers to the UFC Newsletter (sign up through UFC.com) can get theirs Thursday (May 2, 2019) at 10 a.m. ET.
