Bellator MMA
Get full results updates for Bellator 228, with the main card starting at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT on Saturday, September 28th.
Join us at Bloody Elbow today (September 28th) for live results updates and a free preliminary card stream of Bellator 228 from The Forum in Inglewood, California.
In the main event (which Bellator completely switched on us mid-week), Lyoto Machida rematches Gegard Mousasi in a middleweight bout. Five years ago, Machida won a five-round decision over Mousasi in a UFC Fight Night main event in Brazil. Now is the chance for Mousasi to get revenge.
Populating the rest of the main card is the conclusion of the opening round of the Bellator featherweight Grand Prix, capped off with Patricio “Pitbull” Freire defending his title against Juan Archuleta. The rest of the tournament includes A.J. McKee against Georgi Karakhanyan, Darrion Caldwell moving up to face Henry Corrales, and Daniel Weichel versus Saul Rogers. After these fights are over, the draw for the quarterfinals will be held live inside the arena.
The prelims will be streamed live here on Bloody Elbow, starting at 7:30 PM ET/4:30 PM PT. We’ll have the video player up at the top of the page when the prelims start. The show will then move over exclusively to DAZN at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT for the main card.
