The British fighter bounced back from his first loss with the UFC by earning a unanimous decision against Spencer Fisher at UFC 127 in Sydney.

The lightweight so far sports a 4-1 record with the top promotion, and doesn’t want to waste time waiting to climb back up the lightweight ladder. So “The Real Deal” is hoping that when the UFC calls that they’ll match him up with someone like Donald Cerrone, Mark Bocek, or Takanori Gomi.

Pearson has been keeping busy since his win mind you, he was recently in Canada cornering teammate, and fellow season 9 “TUF” alum, Dean Amasinger who appeared on an MMA 1 card in Ontario on April 2nd.

The Team Rough House fighter talked to ESPN UK about his next fight.

“I’m waiting for a phone call. I’ve been tweeting a lot that I’m fit and training hard. I don’t know who my opponent will be, but I’m super focused and it’s my time,. I’m sitting waiting for that phone call, every day I’m looking at that phone thinking ‘Come on, ring!’ … “I’m just looking at who’s left on the roster for me to get matched up with. There’s Donald Cerrone, Mark Bocek… Takanori Gomi’s out there. They’re the three I’m looking at. Cerrone is a top guy, he put on a great performance against Paul Kelly and has had some great wars in the WEC. If that’s what the UFC see fit for me to fight, let’s do it – I’m ready to go. I won’t back down from any opponent.”
