Check out the betting odds for the early UFC Busan card, where Chan Sung Jung is favored over Frankie Edgar in the main event.
It’s time for another early MMA card as UFC Busan kicks off Saturday morning from the Sajik Arena in Busan, South Korea. Bloody Elbow has the betting lines.
The event’s featured bout will see the promotion’s #4 ranked featherweight, Frankie Edgar, take on the #6 ranked, Chan Sung Jung. The oddsmakers and bettors both like them some Korean Zombie. He is currently available straight up with a favored moneyline of -170. As for the former champion, Edgar is playing the role of underdog here, and can be scooped up for a value of +160.
The over/under for this 145-pound matchup has been set at 4.5 rounds. Gamblers can lay the price on the ‘Over’ at a cost of -132, or take the ‘Under’ at an underdog tick of +117. Both prop bets ‘Fight goes to decision’ and ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ are sitting at minus lines. Going the distance is favored at -125, with the fight not reaching the scorecards hovering at -105.
The UFC Busan co-main event will feature a top-ten light heavyweight matchup between the #8 ranked, Volkan Oezdemir, and the #10 ranked, Aleksandar Rakic. The bet-setters are projecting that the streaking Rakic will walk away with the win here. The Austrian currently owns a favored moneyline of -170, with a +150 comeback on the former title challenger.
The over/under for this 205-pound fight has been set at 1.5 rounds. The ‘Over’ prop can be acquired at a favored mark of -170, with the ‘Under’ under dogging at +150. The bookies don’t believe that this one will be reaching the scorecards. For a favored value of -165 the exotic bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ can be picked up. With a plus line of +135, the ‘Fight goes to decision’ prop can be had.
