We all know that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal, currently idling at No. 3 in the 170-pound rankings, is not sitting behind his desktop and splicing footage together on his pirated copy of Adobe Premier Pro.
But it was posted to his YouTube account and has his name on it, so we’ll give him the props for making UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, eat his words after “The Nigerian Nightmare” tried to diss “GameBred” at the UFC 245 post-fight press conference.
Masvidal may very well end up fighting Usman for the 170-pound strap at some point in early 2020. Colby Covington (No. 1) was defeated earlier this month in Las Vegas and Tyron Woodley (No. 2) was recently paired off against Leon Edwards (No. 4) for UFC London in March.
“Gamebred” (35-13) has won three straight fights at welterweight, with all three ending by way of knockout or technical knockout.
