Sean O’Malley has made a slight adjustment to the UFC bantamweight rankings.

Humbled

A post shared by Sugar Sean O’Malley (@sugaseanmma) on

“Humbled,” O’Malley posted on Instagram earlier this week, where he ranked himself ahead of top UFC bantamweight contenders Marlon Moraes, Aljamain Sterling, and Petr Yan.

In reality, however, O’Malley is actually ranked #15. ‘Sugar’ broke into the top-fifteen following his highlight reel knockout of seasoned veteran Eddie Wineland at UFC 250. Despite only making his UFC debut in 2017, the 25-year-old is already one of the most popular fighters on the roster. O’Malley has over 950k followers on Instagram and his 2018 interview with Joe Rogan generated over 1.7 million views.

The undefeated talent is currently unproven as a pay-per-view draw but feels he is destined to become the UFC’s next big star.
