Light heavyweight prospect Jamahal Hill kept his undefeated record in tact earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 5, 2020) at UFC Vegas 16 live on ESPN+/ESPN2 from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when “Sweet Dreams” put a stop to veteran Ovince Saint Preux via second-round TKO (punches).
After a back-and-forth first round that saw a lot of kicks from both fighters, Hill started to take control in the second. His movement and speed inside the pocket really stalled Saint Preux. Eventually, Hill’s combinations landed and OSP began to crumble along the cage. The referee gave the former UFC title challenger enough time to recover but it never happened.

This is the best case scenario for Hill who is a young fighter on the rise coming off a failed drug test for marijuana use earlier this year. The 29-year-old had to eat some serious kicks from OSP in this co-main event bout, but proved his power, precision, and patience is made for the big leagues.
Except “Sweet Dreams” to have a number next to his name when the updated UFC rankings come out next.
