UFC strawweight submission specialist Mackenzie Dern, who’s on a mission to prove she can also throw hands, will make her return to the Octagon against Nina Ansaroff at the upcoming MMA event on April 10, according to ESPN, at a city and venue to be determined.
Dern (10-1) suffered the first loss of her professional career back at UFC Fight Night 161 but quickly regained her footing and rattled off three consecutive wins, including her unanimous decision victory over Virna Jandiroba at UFC 256 earlier this month in Las Vegas.
As for Ansaroff (10-6), she’s been out of action following her unanimous decision loss to Tatiana Suarez at UFC 238 back in June 2019. That’s because “The Strina” has been busy with partner and two-division champion Amanda Nunes raising their newborn baby.
No other bouts have been revealed for the April 10 event but you can expect that to change sooner, rather than later.
