Paul Daley and Sabah Homasi opened up the main card of Bellator 257 and it turned out to be an all-out barn burner. After an intense first round which featured five minutes of back-and-forth fast paced action that saw Homasi drop “Semtex,” Daley turned the tables in the second round.
Bellator 257’s main card will air on Showtime at 9 p.m. ET. MMAmania.com will deliver results for the full card and comprehensive play-by-play for the televised portion of Bellator 257 below.
Indeed, the hard-hitting Englishman dropped Homasi with a nasty right hand early in the second round. A few moments later, “Semtex” unleashed a huge left hook that once again floored his opponent. This time around, Daley didn’t give him the chance to bounce back up, diving in and putting an end to the fight with some ground-and-pound.
That is now three straight wins for Daley, his last two coming at 175 pounds, a division he says he now owns. Now it remains to be seen if Bellator allows “Semtex” to continue fighting at that weight or force him back down to Welterweight for good.
