Conor McGregor will fight a Conor McGregor impressionist.
A still injured Conor McGregor will be stepping back into the ring next month. The former two-division UFC champion, who is currently recovering from a nasty shin break from UFC 264, will be part of a wheelchair boxing event for charity on September 11.
As recently announced, McGregor will be facing a fairly popular and talented McGregor impressionist in Al Foran. The charity event will aid the Irish Wheelchair Association.

Foran has made several hilarious impressions of McGregor (like the one in the clip below), and this seems to be a great way for the UFC star to support people in need regardless of his injury, and maybe also get a chance to punch him for any joke he may not have liked.
McGregor hasn’t exactly handled his second straight loss to Dustin Poirier particularly well, and drew some heavy — and fair — criticism after spewing some vile and downright disgusting things as of late. This a welcome change of pace, and it is really nice to see the former champion still continuing with his charitable efforts outside of that.
There is a GoFundMe page for the event, with McGregor donating €10,000 himself. As of this writing, it has over 32,000 euros out of their 35,000 goal.
Thank you so much @TheNotoriousMMA I’m over the moon! Ten grand!!!!!!!! Legend.
