Weigh-ins for Friday’s Strikeforce Challengers 16: Fodor vs. Terry event will take place this evening at 9:30PM EST (6:30PM PST) from Kent, Washington with a total of sixteen fighters hitting the scales.
Friday’s event is set to take place at the ShoWare Center in Kent with the main card airing on the Showtime network beginning at 11PM EST/PST. Fans in the United Kingdom can catch the event on Primetime.
Headlining the Challengers show is a lightweight bout between Caros Fodor (10-3), who has won three straight under the Strikeforce banner, and James Terry (10-2) who has also won three straight, holding an overall record of 5-1 with the promotion.
Featured in the co-main event is Ryan Couture (2-0), son of Randy Couture, who looks to win his third straight with Strikeforce against undefeated Matt Ricehouse (4-0).
The event will also features the first women’s mma bout in this history of Zuffa as Germaine ‘The Iron Lady’ de Randamie (2-1) takes on Julia ‘The Jewel’ Budd (1-1) in a Women’s 145 lb bout.
Strikeforce Challengers 16 marks the last of the series to be held outside of the events new home, The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
