Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE during last night’s SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) after parting ways with the company over one year ago.
Lesner, who turned 44 this past July, last competed at WrestleMania 36 in April 2020 losing his WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. Later that summer it was revealed that Lesnar was no longer under contract with WWE and wrestling fans were unsure when, or even if, “The Beast Incarnate” would make another walk to the ring.
Luckily, Lesnar’s departure only lasted as long as it did as the former WWE champion walked out after the conclusion of SummerSlam to confront old rival Roman Reigns. The wrestling world just saw CM Punk return to the mix on Friday so seeing Lesnar’s comeback walkout left Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas going crazy.

Lesnar, who is a former UFC heavyweight champion, was approached by Bellator MMA after his departure from WWE in 2020 about a possible fight with the legendary Fedor Emelianenko. That fight never came to fruition and now Lesnar is back competing in professional wrestling. His last MMA appearance was a no contest opposite Mark Hunt at UFC 200 back in 2016.
