As MMAjunkie.com first reported, the Strikeforce
Challengers series makes its second appearance in Las Vegas on Aug. 12
for “Strikeforce Challengers 18: Gurgel vs. Duarte.”
Strikeforce brass officially announced the previously reported event,
which features a lightweight contest between Jorge Gurgel and Joe Duarte and takes place at The Pearl at
the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
A lightweight bout of Pat Healy vs. Eric Wisely also is official for the card.
