A light heavyweight matchup between top prospect Phil Davis and promotional newcomer Wagner Prado is now
official for UFC on FOX 4.
Davis was originally expected to face Chad Griggs on the card, but “The Grave Digger” was forced to withdraw due to injury. MMAjunkie.com in May reported the switch, and UFC officials recently confirmed the new matchup.
Featuring a main event between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Brandon Vera,
UFC on FOX 4 takes place Aug. 4 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
