Undefeated featherweight prospect Jimy Hettes will return to action at UFC 152 against Marcus Brimage, the promotion announced on Tuesday.
Hettes (10-0) hasn’t fought since UFC 141 in December when he dominated Nam Phan en route to a unanimous decision win. The victory improved the 25-year-old’s Octagon record to 2-0. Hettes was scheduled fight Steve Siler last month in Atlantic City, N.J., but he pulled out of the bout due to an injury.
Brimage (5-1) most recently defeated Maximo Blanco via split decision at UFC 145 in April. The TUF 14 cast member is 2-0 inside the Octagon.
Also recently announced for the card was Seth Baczynski vs. Simeon Thoresen and Vinny Magalhaes vs. Igor Pokrajac.
UFC 152, headlined by Joseph Benavidez vs. Demetrious Johnson for the first-ever UFC flyweight title, takes place Sept. 22 at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
