DENVER – After an impressive win over friend and former teammate Melvin
Guillard, Donald Cerrone made it clear he’s still targeting a bout with
former WEC champ Anthony Pettis.
While he wasn’t willing to book the fight at the post-UFC 150 press
conference, UFC President Dana White said he’s on board with the plan.
If it happens, Cerrone said he’s not looking for any verbal warfare with
the man he’w been calling out in recent times. After letting emotions
get the best of him in a recent fight with Nate Diaz, Cerrone said he
doesn’t want a repeat performance.
