While the MMA world was certainly impressed with Donald Cerrone’s 170-pound performance against Patrick Cote at UFC Fight Night 89 this past weekend, “Cowboy” was apparently unimpressed with what he received for said-performance.

After listening to a media member list a bunch of his accomplishments at the official UFC Fight Night 89 post-fight press conference, “Cowboy” dropped a bomb regarding apparent issues he has with how he is being compensated by the UFC at this point in his career.

“God, that all sounds nice,” Cerrone said at the press conference. “According to my pay, I don’t mean sh*t to the UFC.”

Cerrone continued, “But we’ll see. Maybe I’ll talk to [UFC president] Dana [White] after this and see if we can figure that out.”

Regarding his future inside the Octagon, Cerrone said he’s willing to take fights at 155 pounds or 170 pounds.

“I like 55, I like 70,” Cerrone said. “Either way. Whatever the fastest trip to the next fight is. So if it’s 55 or 70, that’s the route I’m going.”
