Floyd Mayweather fires back at UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor over his comments about a rematch.

Earlier this week, McGregor responded to a person on his official Twitter account and that was where he teased the rematch. Since their first fight that took place on August 26th, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mayweather has competed just once.

The boxing legend is fresh off a win over Tenshin Nasukawa in their exhibition bout at RIZIN 14 on December 31, 2018, from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. He was able to score the TKO win after the prospect’s corner threw in the towel after the first round.

Mayweather recently fired back at McGregor during a recent interview with TMZ Sports where he claimed that everyone was trying to fight him.

“Everybody wants a rematch with me. “Don’t worry about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah everybody’s saying something. I don’t worry about that. I already made over a billion! You already know that! I’m not worried about all that my man. Floyd is undefeated. Nobody can beat me. You already know that, man!”

As seen in their boxing fight, the former UFC champion did show some good things in the ring considering that it was his first outing as a professional. However, he ultimately lost by TKO in the tenth round.
