Mark Wahlberg said something that makes us wonder why publicists even have jobs these days if they go around letting their clients speak their minds, when he gave a recent interview to Men’s Journal magazine. The topic was on the 9/11 tragedy and Wahlberg responded:
On being scheduled to be on one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center
“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.’”
To be fair, Wahlberg never should have been asked such a ridiculous question as of course, he would have given some macho and stupid inane pointless overzealous remark.
But in the wake of Wahlberg’s idiocy unintentional insensitivity, MMA fans have [for once] united in the Sherdog forums rather than feverishly type away anonymous insults at one another, and used their polished Photoshop skills to imagine what other major tragedies would have been prevented had only Mark Wahlberg been around to save the day.
