In our 3rd recent big Heavyweight fight, there’s once again a significant odds mismatch as Tyson Fury takes on Tom Schwarz.

It’s been a busy few weeks for boxing’s top Heavyweights, with first Deontay Wilder, then Anthony Joshua, and now Tyson Fury all seeing action. Fury headlines a card on ESPN this Saturday against Tom Schwarz. Here are the latest odds, courtesy of Bovada:

Tyson Fury -3000
Tom Schwarz +1100

So Fury is, understandably, the massive favorite. The lineal champion remains undefeated in his pro career and is 2-0-1 since making his return to the sport last year. His last fight was the controversial draw with Wilder that most felt Fury won. Schwarz is 24-0 with virtually his entire career taken place in Germany until now. He’s taking a big step up here.

For comparison, Wilder was around -1000 for his last fight against Dominic Breazeale, while Joshua was -3000 against Andy Ruiz. Joshua of course lost that fight, and I’m sure that upset will cause some to put money on Schwarz here. I would say don’t do such a foolish thing, but I would have said the same thing about Ruiz, so hey, you do you.

Here are a few other odds for upcoming notable fights:

Mairis Breidis -260
Krzysztof Glowacki +200

Keith Thurman -135
Manny Pacquiao +105

Finally, it looks like we are indeed heading for Wilder vs. Fury 2, and odds are out for what would be a huge rematch there. Right now odds for both men are virtually… identical, with Wilder at -125 and Fury at -105. I favored Fury last time, I thought he won last time, and I’ll favor him again here, though certainly would advise seeing how he looks Saturday night before actually committing to anything.
