It turns out that cheering the away team in the home team section is a bad idea, even when you’re a loveable scamp like Paddy Pimblett.

UFC fans really seem to enjoy Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett and his charming Scouser enthusiasm. But it was that same enthusiasm that got him kicked out of Vicarage Road Stadium after he apparently cheered a little too much for the visiting Liverpool team during their 5-0 route of home team Watford.

Being an American publication here at MMA Mania, we won’t pretend to understand the finer points of football / soccer politics but apparently it is considered bad form to sit in the home team section of a stadium and cheer for the away team, which is exactly what Paddy was doing as his Liverpool team trounced the newly elevated club.

“Cannot believe the audacity of these stewards singling us out when multiple ppl celebrated around us an escorted us out the stadium,” Pimblett wrote on Instagram. “Watford do something about ur stewards.”

Paddy insists he wasn’t being ‘over the top’ about it. And if it happens once, maybe it’s the stewards. But we get a bit suspicious after learning Paddy was then kicked out of a pub for the same apparent reason: he was being a bit too Liverpudian in a bar designated for Watford fans.

“Been kicked out of the match for celebrating and now we’ve been kicked out of the boozer by stewards because it is a home boozer,” a seemingly shocked Pimblett declared. “Watford, Ben Foster, I love you mate. But I hope Watford go down, youse are horrible, horrible.”

Now maybe, just maybe, all these places were doing Paddy a favor getting him out of there before deflated Watford fans decided to kick Pimblett’s head around like a ball a bit?
