SAN DIEGO – Tarec Saffiedine has a big fight coming up, but it isn’t the biggest one on the radar screen for Team Quest.
That honor belongs to Dan Henderson, who fights Jon Jones for the UFC light heavyweight title in two weeks. But Saffiedine, a Henderson teammate and frequent training partner, is feeding off the positive vibes running through the Temecula, Calif.-based fight team.
Saffiedine fights Roger Bowling on Saturday at “Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman,” and he hopes a convincing win might turn into a title shot of his own.
