UFC 266 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s huge show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

Brian Ortega shows up in his tricked out old Chevy to play some soccer with his kids. He discusses the difficulties of co-parenting and training camps keeping him away so much. He takes his boys to Jack in the Box. He’s sad that he can’t order food for himself, lol.

We head over to the fighter hotel in Vegas, where Alex Volkanovski gets in a workout in his room while his team clowns around, as usual. Quickly we’re down in Texas at Lauren Murphy’s house. She’s not sure what to pack. She talks about her big cute puppy. She gets in a light workout. Lauren has been the underdog in 16 of her 19 fights.

Nick Diaz arrives at the Vegas airport. He says Robbie Lawler has gotten older, but he’s still a bad matchup for Nick. They ride into town, where he’s introduced to Valentina and Antonina Shevchenko. He signs some posters with a couple of other UFC fighters. He’s asked if there’s anything he misses about fight week.

“No,” he quips. Well that’s a standard Nick answer. He gets fitted for his gear, and is typically quiet.

Outside the hotel, Volkanovski is shooting some hoops. Badly. He jokes that he’s going to lose his confidence if he keeps doing this sh-t.

And that’s it! UFC 266 goes down Saturday night in Sin City.
