Urijah Faber obliterated Michael McDonald at UFC on Fox 9 via second-round guillotine choke, but “The California Kid” paid for the dominant victory with his body.

Due to injuries to his hands and left wrist, Faber is suspended for 180 days with no contact unless cleared by a doctor, according to MMAjunkie.

Court McGee and Mac Danzig, both losers at the event, also received 180-day suspensions with no contact. McGee suffered a broken left orbital, while Danzig endured a variety of injuries, which are outlined below.

Perhaps most surprisingly, Joseph Benavidez will sit out a maximum of 60 days. Despite being knocked out in brutal fashion in the night’s main event, Benavidez will rebound quickly, and he can return to training in less than this two-month time frame, pending a doctor’s clearance.
