“They have 20 losses combined. You’ve got 20 losses? Sit your ass down. You’re not the baddest mother f*cker.“

Many fans — and fighters — are eagerly anticipating the upcoming ‘BMF’ welterweight title fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz to determine the ‘baddest motherf-cker’ on the planet, but UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman thinks it’s a joke.

Speaking at a media scrum ahead of his first ever title defense at UFC 245, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ put both Diaz and Masvidal and blast for having a combined 20 24 losses between them. Usman said neither fighter is worthy of being crowned the UFC’s ‘baddest motherf-cker’.

“They dropped the ball in getting my fight done for MSG,” Usman said, per MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi. “They had to create something for that. They have 20 losses combined. You’ve got 20 losses? Sit your ass down. You’re not the baddest mother f*cker.“

Masvidal will fight Diaz for the BMF title at UFC 244 on November 2, and Usman will defend his welterweight title the following month, December 14, against former interim champ Colby Covington at UFC 245 in Las Vegas. Both fights are big, no doubt, but Masvidal vs. Diaz is expected to be one of, if not the, biggest fights of the year.
