“The Axe Murder” Wanderlei Silva takes some time off from one of his training clinics in Toronto to talk about some of his status and his hopes to fight in Toronto next. Silva is hoping to face Chris Leben at UFC 129 noting that “He’s a really good opponent. His style is like my style, he like to fight. He’s not afraid to go toe-to-toe.”
When it came to talking about Chale Sonnen, the two have been trading a few verbal jabs, Silva noted that he “Killed him” the only time they trained together. “I trained with him one time at Xtreme Couture and I killed him there. I think he is a good opponent for me. I think its fun, no? Because sometimes I talk, we talk, its making the fight more interesting.”
