Evan DunhamOn Tuesday UFC lightweight Evan Dunham (11-2) has withdrawn from his upcoming UFC 132 bout with George Sotiropoulos (14-3) due to an undisclosed injury.

ESPN.com reported the update on Tuesday afternoon, noting that no replacement had been officially made by the UFC, but the promotion was looking at Brazilian fighter Rafael Dos Anjos (14-5) as a possible replacement.

UFC 132 is scheduled to take place on July 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Dunham is currently riding a two bout losing streak after going undefeated in eleven straight fights. He lost to Melvin Guillard at UFC: Fight for the Troops 2 by TKO last January, and by a controversial split decision to Sean Sherk at UFC 119 in September.

Sotiropoulos lost for the first time in the UFC, having won seven straight in the Octagon. The Greek-Australian had his streak stopped by German fighter Dennis Siver in February by unanimous decision. Both met on the main card of UFC 127 in Australia.

If Dos Anjos replaces Dunham, he also steps back into the cage with a loss on his record in his last fight. The Brazilian lost by submission to Clay Guida last August at UFC 117. Dos Anjos was forced to tap after suffering a jaw injury from pressure by Guida while tangled together against the cage.
