Ali Abdelaziz has gone hard in the paint against Conor Mcgregor ahead of his return to the octagon at welterweight.

The manager of Khabib Nurgamedov has a well-documented beef with the Irishman who made Abdelaziz the target of his verbal warfare in the build up to his clash with the unbeaten Dagestani.

Speaking with Chael Sonnen, the popular manager called a potential fight with welterweight champion Kamaru Usman suicide and claimed McGregor is simply to lazy to actually cut weight. (H/T Chael Sonnen)

“It would be suicide for him to fight Kamuru even if he wins (against Cerrone).” Abdelaziz said. “Secondly, he doesn’t want to cut weight. They a bunch of lazy motherfuckers, they don’t want to make the weight.”

“If you’re
talking about Conor fighting at 170 and fighting Usman his family better have life
insurance because he might kill him.” Abdelaziz said. “I don’t think it’s a fair
fight. I don’t think the athletic commission should approve a fight between
Kamaru and Conor. I think something will happened to him, he’ll probably get crippled,
something bad will happen.”

Abdelaziz also claimed McGregor returning at 170 was not smart if he actually wants to get another crack at the lightweight champion.

“He’s actually not smart because if he actually wanted to fight Khabib he would of fought Cerrone at 155.” Abdelaziz said. “Even if he beats Cerrone do you think Khabib is going to fight him at 155? No, Khabib even said he needs to win ten fights. People think Khabib is just talking, but when Khabib said I’m not fighting in Vegas, he didn’t fight in Vegas. For sure financial standpoint it’s a good fight but I can’t force him on what to do because he’s a man, he’s different, he has principles.”

Will Conor McGregor stay at 170lbs or drop back down and chase another fight with Khabib Nurgamedov ?

Controversial mixed martial arts (MMA) manager Ali Abdelaziz seems to have started a momentary crusade against the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

Abdelaziz manages some of the biggest names in the sport ranging from Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Frankie Edgar, Henry Cejudo, Kamaru Usman and many more.

And on Tuesday, he sent out a warning to the entire UFC roster to avoid talking to USADA if they try and talk to them directly:

“If you are a UFC fighter out there and USADA tried to call you and tried to talk to you directly, never do that because their job is to get suspensions,” Abdelaziz wrote. “It’s them or us.”

Oddly enough, he later praised USADA on Wednesday:

“USADA is very important part of this sport to keep all these cheating people out of this sport, sometime I disagree on some things but we need them to keep this sport clean,” he added.

Given that UFC 245 is coming up on December 14, many suspected that Usman had tested positive for something. However, Abdelaziz manages so many clients that it could have been virtually anyone.

For now, all anyone can do is guess the reasons behind his tweet.

Why do you think Abdelaziz tweeted that?

Longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) manager Ali Abdelaziz has had a misdemeanor battery charge dropped stemming from his buffet line brawl with Colby Covington earlier this year, which involved Abdelaziz’s client and UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

MMA Fighting reports that the charge was dismissed after Abdelaziz paid up a $1,000 cash bond instead. Now, however, Abdelaziz has another misdemeanor battery charge to contend with stemming from his physical altercation at a recent Professional Fighters League (PFL) event. A similar outcome is expected for that case as well.

As for Usman, he is actually preparing to defend his 170-pound crown against Covington next. The pair will headline the UFC 245 pay-per-view (PPV) event from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 14. Usman and Covington have exchanged trash talk over the past several months, and after several failed attempts to make the fight happen, the date is finally locked down.

Usman is undefeated in his UFC run, coming off a dominant victory over Tyron Woodley to win the welterweight crown. Now, he’ll make his first career title defense against Covington, who has looked great on his seven-fight win streak, coming off a big decision win over Robbie Lawler in Newark.

What do you think about Abdelaziz getting his misdemeanor battery charge dropped?

Abdelaziz just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. He was involved in a physical altercation with UFC welterweight title challenger Colby Covington earlier this year. While the beef is truly between Covington and welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, it was Abdelaziz who was trying to get physical at a buffet line inside a Las Vegas hotel earlier this year.

Then, earlier this month, Abdelaziz reportedly slapped fellow MMA manager Abe Kawa, and was involved in a physical altercation with his client, ex-UFC lightweight king Anthony “Showtime” Pettis. It will be interesting to see if Bellator takes any disciplinary action towards Abdelaziz for the altercation.

Prominent mixed martial arts (MMA) manager Ali Abdelaziz has been barred from attending Professional Fighters League (PFL) events. At least until his current battery case is resolved after Abdelaziz allegedly punched fellow MMA manager Abe Kawa at a recent PFL event.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department cited Abdelaziz for the incident on October 11 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Abdelaziz represents several fighters who are scheduled to compete at the PFL Playoffs 2 event Thursday. However, he will not be allowed to attend the event given his current situation, according to a PFL statement released to ESPN.

“At league direction, Ali Abdelaziz will not be attending upcoming postseason events. Given the fact this is a legal matter, the league has no further comment at this time.”

Abdelaziz has not yet been formally charged for the October 11 crime, per online records. He did release a statement to ESPN on the matter, saying he did not want to be the story of the event and will continue to support his fighters.

“I spoke to PFL executives earlier this week and I don’t want this story to be about me,” Abdelaziz said. “The focus should be on my athletes in the PFL. I have 10 athletes fighting on Thursday and we made sure everybody made weight and has everything they need. I continue to support my athletes.”

It’s no secret that former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington and MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz don’t like one another. In fact, the pair engaged in a Vegas buffet brawl the day after UFC 239 in Las Vegas.

Abdelaziz has recently gotten himself into more trouble, allegedly punching another MMA manager in Abe Kawa at a recent Professional Fighters League (PFL) show. Speaking to Submission Radio, Covington noted he’s surprised Abdelaziz hasn’t been deported from the country yet. He plans on speaking to United States President Donald Trump on the matter soon.

“Well, first off, you got to get his name right. His name is Ali Abdelasleaze. The sleazeball is a terrorist rat. The guy has no boundaries, I can’t believe he hasn’t been deported yet,” Covington said. “By the way, I’m about to get on the phone with Donald Trump after I get off this interview. That is the second time he has punched someone in the face in the last couple of months.

“He has two charges pending in Vegas against him. Also, I don’t know if you guys, you guys should do your research and do some digging into this, but he also has a sexual assault case against one of the UFC employees for trying to rape one of the UFC employees at an event. You should dig into that and start asking Ali those questions. The guy is a complete scumbag, a dirtbag, and I don’t know how he hasn’t been deported yet.

“He must have definitely ratted all his friends from Egypt and got them life sentences and must still be giving them informant type information to be getting off all the charges he has gotten off. That guy is literally done everything there is to in the book besides kill somebody that we know of. The guy is a sleazeball and that is that.”

As of this writing, there are no credible reports to support the allegations from Covington that Abdelaziz sexually harassed a UFC employee. However, we’ll keep you updated as we learn more. Currently, Covington is scheduled to take on Kamaru Usman in the main event of the December UFC 245 pay-per-view (PPV) for the welterweight championship.

Do you think Covington will actually ask Trump about deporting Abdelaziz?
