Jake Paul has made a public offer of $50 million to try to convince former dual weight UFC champion, Conor McGregor, to square off against him in the boxing ring.

The YouTube star transitioned to boxing in 2020 and improved his record to 2-0 on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. scoring a highlight-reel knockout win over former NBA player Nate Robinson in the pay-per-view co-main event.

Post-fight Paul called for fights with SBG teammates Dillon Danis and Conor McGregor. Since then he has dialed in on ‘Notorious’ and yesterday cranked up the heat by putting a big money offer on the table.

Paul took to social media to confirm the offer and take several shots at McGregor which included insulting the mother of his children, Dee Devlin, he said.

“What the f*** is up you Irish c***! Good morning Conor McGregor. I know you’re probably beating up old dudes in a bar right now or jacking off because you’re sick of f****** your wife. I mean she’s a four, Conor, you could a lot better but happy Monday! My team sent you a $50 million offer this morning. $50 million cash…the biggest fight offer you’ve ever been offered but you’re scared to fight me, Conor.”

Paul went on to insult UFC boss Dana White as well as McGregor, accusing both men of being scared to accept a fight and potentially lose against a YouTube celebrity.

“And Dana White, you’re a f****** p**** too you ugly f****** bald b****!” Paul said. “You said there’s zero percent chance of this fight happening but there’s zero percent chance of you getting some f****** p****. Conor, you’re scared. Dana, you’re scared. Sign the f****** contracts you idiots.” (Transcribed by VLAD TV)

McGregor is currently booked to face off against Dustin Poirier in an eagerly anticipated rematch at UFC 257. The Irishman has boxed just once professionally – losing via tenth round TKO against Floyd Mayweather in 2017. He is thought to be in talks for another pro boxing match against eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao.

Do you think this $50M offer from Jake Paul to Conor McGregor is real?

J Prince has revealed he is currently weighing up moves into the YouTube boxing business as well as Mixed Martial Arts.

The Rap-A-Lot Records CEO and former manager of Floyd Mayweather and Andre Ward already has an impressive boxing stable but is looking to diversify it in 2021 after watching the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view event last month.

“I’m trying to build a stable full of champions in every weight division,” Prince told LowKickMMA. “That’s a goal of mine and of course I want to diversify the market outside of the normal box of boxing. You can see a lot of that taking place on the Mike Tyson and Roy Jones fight card. The diversity in the marketing was really interesting to me and I love the fact of intertwining the best of both of those worlds.”

Prince was “entertained” by Tyson vs. Jones Jr. but was happier to see the legendary pair leave the ring just as healthy as they entered. The 56-year-old was more interested in YouTube celebrity Jake Paul who appeared on the undercard and has taken the boxing world by storm alongside his brother Logan Paul over the past year.

“I like the movement that the brothers are doing,” Prince said. “I love the diversity they bring to the sport and I think a lot can be accomplished. That’s like a new form of tea or what not that’s really tasteful and I’m looking forward to how I can get a taste of that.”

Prince is also weighing up a move into MMA but seemed less certain about if or when he’d actually be making that jump.

“I’ve thought about it,” Prince said about a potential move into MMA. “I’ve thought about it. I love to see those guys in action but I haven’t embraced any of the business opportunities yet but it is in the back of my mind.”

Do you think J Prince will find success in YouTube boxing & MMA?

Dana White

Dana White has looked to shut down speculation surrounding a potential fight between YouTuber star Jake Paul and former dual weight UFC champion Conor McGregor.

Paul has transitioned to boxing in 2020 and improved his record to 2-0 on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr and scored a highlight-reel knockout win over former NBA player Nate Robinson in the pay-per-view co-main event.

Post-fight Paul called for fights with SBG teammates Dillon Danis and Conor McGregor. He has also previously mentioned squaring off with Jorge Masvidal and Ben Askren, attracting a lot of attention from the MMA community.

The 23-year-old recently revealed fighting McGregor was his ultimate goal and something he will be dedicating his life to.

“I am dedicating my life to beating Conor McGregor, Financially, it already makes sense,” Paul said. “Financially, I’m already one of the biggest prizefighters and there are only a couple more bosses to check off and to beat to conquer,” Paul said.

McGregor is currently booked to face off against Dustin Poirier in an eagerly anticipated rematch at UFC 257. The Irishman has boxed just once professionally – losing via tenth round TKO against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.

In an interview with TMZ Sports the UFC president shut down any talk of a potential fight between Conor McGregor and Jake Paul, he said.

“[Conor McGregor] is one of the greatest fighters on Earth right now. He shouldn’t be fighting kids that have f–king YouTube videos.

White understands there is an appetite to see YouTube celebrities fight but he doesn’t want to be a part of it.

“There’s a market for these kinda fights. It’s just not what I do,” White said.

“There will be a day when Conor McGregor could do these types of fights and make a bunch of money, … but it ain’t happening any time soon.”

Do you think Dana White is right to shut down talk of a Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor matchup?

Vitor Belfort On Mayweather vs Paul: Fans ‘Want To See It’

You won’t find MMA legend Vitor Belfort joining the outcry against the overmatched booking any time soon.

Sitting down to talk to LowKick MMA, the former UFC light heavyweight champion was asked about the upcoming exhibition boxing match between the 50-0 Floyd Mayweather and YouTube star Logan Paul, who dropped his debut match against fellow internet star KSI. Though many fans have dismissed the bout as a farce, Belfort sees the logic in the matchmaking.

“(Mayweather)’s brilliant in business… as a businessman in fighting, he’s one of the greatest,” Belfort said. “He really knows how to make money, how to create value. He sees an opportunity and he says, ‘Why do I need to fight a great fighter if I can fight a YouTuber and give what people want to see?’ Remember, they want to see something different. They don’t want to see boxing anymore. And that’s why the promoters need to open their eyes and say, ‘We need to become entertaining as well.’

“I don’t doubt the UFC is going to start putting YouTubers to fight,” Belfort continued. “That’s where the money is going to go. Because why? Because people want to see that. They don’t want to see the fighters. The fighters kill, they put their lives on the line, and (fans) don’t want to buy. But now you have a YouTuber fighting… they want to see it. So, you got to go where… as a promoter, it’s a different mindset. I think he really saw an opportunity.”

Belfort also thinks there might be another reason why Mayweather isn’t looking for fights against other combat sport athletes, such as The Phenom himself.

“Why (doesn’t) Mayweather fight me?” Belfort asked. “Mayweather, instead of fighting a YouTuber, can fight me. For example, I wear big gloves, he can wear headgear. But that would be a fight. Now, he’s fighting a professional fighter. (Paul)’s a professional YouTuber. Why (Mayweather) doesn’t fight me? Maybe I can only throw 2 hard punches in the round. You can put some fun rules, but now you have the weight problem. The rules of Nevada… in boxing, you can’t fight in openweight.”

Despite his ability to see the silver lining around Logan Paul’s matchup, Belfort was less enthusiastic about Jake Paul’s callout of MMA fighters following his knockout win over former NBA star Nate Robinson.

“Like I said, who’d he (fight)? A basketball player. It’s like me playing basketball. It’s like this: ‘Vitor, you’re a great fighter that maybe can play basketball. But that doesn’t make me a basketball player. The guy was ridiculous. The guy didn’t even know how to fight.”

However, Belfort wasn’t entirely negative towards the younger Paul brother.

“The kid looks good. I like the YouTuber. (Jake) looks good, he looks sharp. He throws a nice overhand, it really looks like he was training… I really think if I had a chance to work with him, he could be really dangerous in hand-to-hand combat. He hits hard. But like I said, now he’s in entertaining, so you’re open for so many people to say, ‘Oh, I challenge this guy, I challenge this guy.’

“He challenges guys that are really easy to beat,” Belfort continued. “(Danis) has barely started his career in MMA. He’s a grappler, he doesn’t know how to strike. I’m sorry, but he’s weak in striking. So, find someone your size. When you call someone out, you call them out for 2 reasons: you can make a lot of money, or you can win. That’s how they call people out. Why he doesn’t want to call me out? They’re always going to call (you out) if they can win or if they can make money. I think that’s where we’re going right now. It’s another avenue of business being created as we speak.”

Like all things, only time will tell who is right about the matchup. Boxing matches between Mayweather and two-division UFC champ Conor McGregor, as well as a recent fight between 54-year-old Mike Tyson and 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr., were also scoffed at, only to each draw in well over a million pay-pay-view buys. Perhaps Belfort is right, and celebrity fights will be the things of the future. Because whether people are tuning in as a joke or out of genuine curiosity, promoters can ride them to the bank.

What do you think about Vitor Belfort’s comments? Will we see YouTubers in the UFC octagon any time soon?

Daniel Cormier has revealed he will not be fighting boxing legend Mike Tyson.

‘Iron Mike’ returned to the ring after 15 years in retirement to face Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout last month. The show was a great success. Not only did it garner 1.6 million pay-per-view buys, Tyson also looked very good and can count himself unlucky to have only emerged with a draw for his efforts.

Post-fight Tyson revealed his plan to fight on and keep competing as part of a Legends Only League. A list of potential opponents for Tyson’s next bout has been drafted up and shockingly the recently retired Daniel Cormier found his name amongst the likes of Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lews, and Tyson Fury.

Speaking on the latest episode of ‘DC & Helwani’ the former dual weight UFC champion ruled himself of a potential fight with Tyson after being ranked among the favourites to face the heavyweight legend next, he said.

“Why would they put me in a boxing match with Mike Tyson? … Nah, I ain’t fighting Tyson. I’m not fighting Mike Tyson.”

“I’m not afraid but I don’t know the rules under which we are playing… I was just in a fight four months ago, Cormier added. “I may have flashbacks, I may take Mike down, you don’t know what happens in that situation.” (Transcribed by Sportskeeda)

Cormier announced his retirement the sport after falling short in his highly anticipated trilogy fight against Stipe Miocic at UFC 252 back in August. Since then there has been talks about him joining the WWE and he even struck up a beef with professional wrestling legend Booker T. As of right now Cormier is continuing with his UFC commentary duties and staying relevant with his popular podcast.

YouTube celebrity turned professional boxer Jake Paul has ripped into former dual weight UFC champion Henry Cejudo who has pushed for a crossover fight with the 23-year-old as of late.

He has also previously mentioned squaring off with Jorge Masvidal and Ben Askren, attracting a lot of attention from the MMA community including Cejudo who took to social media to call him out on Sunday, he wrote.

”Yo @jakepaul since you really think your a legit fighter by beating up on retired NBA D lister’s who really deserves a academy award for best fall. How about we fight and if I can’t stop you I’ll give all money to charity of your choice. #dontbescaredhomie.”

“I had no idea this dirt bag @jakepaul was a fanboy! Sign the contract and you might have your dream of meeting your idol Triple C! Ps I’m sending a digital autograph for you baby.”

The YouTuber quickly fired back, taking shots at the money Cejudo has earned from his decorated career in MMA, he wrote.

“I’m a huge fan!! You’re the mini champ! But it seems like I’m your only fan because the purses I buy my girlfriend are worth more than your fight purses. where your PPV #’s at champ?”
