Bryce Mitchell Breaks Silence on Hitler Comments on Now-Deleted Interview: "They didn't play the whole podcast"

UFC Athlete Bryce Mitchell has come under fire for controversial remarks made during the debut episode of his podcast, ArkanSanity. In the podcast, Mitchell described Adolf Hitler as a “good guy” before committing atrocities, denied the Holocaust, and made homophobic and antisemitic comments. These statements have sparked widespread criticism from fans, media figures, and UFC President Dana White.

Bryce Mitchell Adds More About Hitler

Bryce Mitchell has since addressed the controversy in an Instagram post, clarifying that he is “definitely not a Nazi” and apologizing for his insensitivity. He stated that his comments were taken out of context and emphasized that he does not condone Hitler’s actions. “I know that a lot of people died in the Holocaust, and that’s a fact,” he wrote. “Hitler did a lot of evil things… I definitely do not condone any of the evil things Hitler did”

In a deleted episode with Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, Bryce Mitchell said:

“I wish I didn’t have to talk about it at all but I feel like the severity of it, being that this is the first time I’ve shown my face since I said it, I do want to talk about it. First things first, I said word for word. I do not support Hitler, I am not a Nazi. I said that word for word, you can go back and watch it. I said Hitler was a good guy, and then I said ‘before’ he committed all the atrocities but they didn’t play the whole podcast. So I did say Hitler was a good guy but I was saying before he committed all the atrocities.”

Here is exactly what Bryce Mitchell said on his podcast:

“I honestly think that Hitler was a good guy based on my own research, not my public education indoctrination. I do really think before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy to go fishing with. He fought for his country. He wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out that were destroying his country and turning them all into gays. They were gaying out the kids. They were queering out the women. They were queering out the dudes.”

The backlash has been intense, with figures like Ariel Helwani criticizing both Mitchell’s comments and the UFC’s lack of disciplinary action. Helwani called it “a new low for MMA” and expressed disappointment over the sport’s tolerance for such behavior. Advocacy groups like the Anti-Defamation League also condemned Mitchell’s statements as toxic and urged swift action from the UFC

Sean Strickland Explains Bryce Mitchell's Support for Hitler Through Israel: "Bryce is an Idiot."

Sean Strickland didn’t hold back in his response to Bryce Mitchell’s recent praise of Adolf Hitler.

That was just one of the many hot takes that Strickland shared during Wednesday’s UFC 312 media event ahead of Saturday’s pay-per-view card in Sydney, Australia. Strickland is scheduled to square off with reigning and defending UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis in a rematch more than a year in the making.

Right out of the gate, Strickland offered his take on the situation surrounding UFC featherweight standout Bryce Mitchell. ‘Thug Nasty’ found himself in some seriously hot water when he said that Hitler was a “good guy” based on his own research and added that he’d liked to have gone fishing with the former dictator of Nazi Germany.

Unsurprisingly, fighters, fans, and even UFC CEO Dana White lambasted Mitchell for his absolutely ignorant comments.

Sean Strickland dubs Bryce Mitchell an ‘idiot from arkansas’ in fiery rant

Strickland, who is certainly no stranger when it comes to making some truly outlandish observations, was even taken aback by Bryce Mitchell’s comments. While addressing the media, Strickland offered his honest thoughts on how exactly the Arkansas native concluded that the man responsible for murdering six million Jews was simply misunderstood.

“The interwebs, X, CNN—all the media—we’ve been seeing dead little brown kids being pulled out of buildings,” Strickland said. “Every time I go on the news, I see, ‘Israeli bombs a hospital, here’s a dead little Palestinian girl.’ Before she wears a hijab, it’s the only time you can see her face. Damn, it’s real sad. You can’t be a human being, turn on the news, and see these dead kids missing limbs and not feel anger. And not feel anger.

“So what does Bryce do? Bryce goes down the rabbit hole. He goes down the rabbit hole. You know, and again, if anything, this is just a reminder of how careful you have to be not to be radicalized. So Bryce goes down the rabbit hole, and he says, ‘Well, goddamn, I don’t want little f*cking brown kids to die anymore. I want that to stop.’ And then what does Bryce do? Bryce says, ‘Oh, the American military is giving Israel bombs to bomb little brown kids in hospitals.’

“And then, you know, the natural course of action is: ‘Well, why? Why is America bombing little brown kids? And so you say—then I would say—’Do we want little brown kids to be bombed?’ Like, if you had a button right now and you could stop giving bombs to Israel, would you? To stop killing little brown kids? Naturally, yes. You and every other American would. But it doesn’t stop,” Strickland continued.

“So now Bryce starts thinking, ‘Well, sh*t, man, maybe the government—’ He starts going further down the radicalization path. ‘Well, now maybe Israel owns our government.’ This and that, this and that. So with Bryce—I don’t think Bryce is a Nazi. I think Bryce is a f*cking idiot from Arkansas who’s not educated.”

Bryce Mitchell has released a statement in response to the massive backlash he has received in the wake of pro-Adolf Hitler comments he made on a podcast.

In the first episode of his new podcast, ArkanSanity, Mitchell appeared to defend Hitler, the dictator and leader of Germany under Nazi rule. The UFC featherweight claimed that while Hitler wasn’t “perfect,” he was “a good guy.”

“I honestly think Hitler was a good guy, based upon my own research, not my public education and indoctrination,” Mitchell said. “He fought for his country, he wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out who were destroying his country and turning them all into gays. Was Hitler perfect? No, but he was fighting for his people. He wanted a pure nation.”

After significant backlash, Mitchell took to Instagram Saturday, attempting to walk back elements of his remarks.

“I’m sorry I sounded insensitive,” Mitchell said in the statement, released on his Instagram account. “I definitely was not trying to offend anybody, but I know I did. I know that a lot of people died in the Holocaust, and that’s a fact. Hitler did a lot of evil things, I think we can all agree on that. I’m definitely not a nazi, and definitely do not condone any of the evil things he did.”

Mitchell added in the post’s description that, [sic] “in the future i will b much more considerate wen talkin about the suffering of all peoples.”

Mitchell’s original comments, in spite of the apology released today, also had him claiming that the Holocaust was not real, stating “there’s no possible way they could’ve burned and cremated 6 million bodies…” and putting the blame for its existence on the public education system.

Several fighters and MMA media members came out with criticism targeted toward Mitchell in the wake of his comments. UFC CEO Dana White stated that he was “beyond disgusted” with Mitchell’s comments. White, however, confirmed that Mitchell would not be cut or punished, citing “free speech.”

Another UFC star, Conor McGregor, would come under fire mere hours later for a profanity-laced rant filled with ethnic and racial slurs fired against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Bryce Mitchell is unlikely to avoid the long-lasting consequences of his anti-Semitic comments, or so predicts a UFC insider.

Mitchell, notorious for regularly making bizarre statements that even the most sensible would reject, coupled with his promotion of numerous conspiracy theories that defy scientific logic, has once again raised eyebrows with his latest remarks.

During the first episode of his freshly launched ArkanSanity Podcast, “Thug Nasty” stunned listeners with a striking rant, oddly praising Adolf Hitler as a “good guy,” and going on to reject the Holocaust as a fabricated event in history.

UFC CEO Dana White wasted no time responding to Mitchell’s shocking comments during the post-event press conference for Power Slap on Thursday. The UFC head honcho expressed his outrage, calling Mitchell’s statements “probably the worst” viewpoint he had ever come across.

Despite emphasizing the gravity of the situation, White clarified that no disciplinary action would be taken against “Thug Nasty” and that the UFC would not sever ties with him due to free speech.

However, despite the UFC refraining from issuing a formal action against Mitchell, Chael Sonnen is convinced that the polarizing fighter will still face significant consequences down the line.

During a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Sonnen predicted that Mitchell would suffer a financial setback for expressing his sympathy toward the Nazi dictator, suggesting that the fallout would likely cost him valuable sponsorships.

“Please understand, there’s a checks and balances for these guys that run their mouth or say something bad or say something that’s really offensive,” Sonnen said. “There’s other things you can do, there’s checks and balances. Mark my words, he’s having calls from whatever sponsors he’s got, he doesn’t have them anymore. In the best case scenario, they all got frozen – in a best case scenario.”

The former UFC fighter-turned-analyst further warned that the 30-year-old Arkansas native that the repercussions would extend beyond the public eye.

“Now, the audience is going to look at him different. Those things don’t go away. To pretend that there’s not a punishment, is not true… There’s criminals out there, but some of them jaywalk, and some of them rob a bank. There’s different levels, and there’s checks and balances for all of them. So please, let’s not pretend that Bryce has got away with something here. He most definitely did not.”

He has lost over 1.2K followers on Instagram while gaining more than 4.2K followers on X (formerly Twitter).

Bryce Mitchell Earns Followers Following Hitler Rant

The backlash against Bryce Mitchell stems from his statements describing Hitler as a “good guy” and denying the Holocaust. Mitchell’s comments have also led to public criticism from prominent figures in the MMA community, including journalist Ariel Helwani and fellow fighters like Conor McGregor. Additionally, at least one sponsor has severed ties with him.

While most fans have distanced themselves from him on Instagram, others appear to have rallied behind him on X. The recent surge in followers for UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell on X (formerly Twitter) after making pro-Hitler remarks is a troubling dynamic in social media.

In the case of pro-Hitler content specifically, there has been a documented rise in its visibility across platforms like X and TikTok. Analysts have noted that such content often uses revisionist narratives or AI-generated media to glorify Hitler, reaching millions of users. X’s algorithm appears particularly prone to amplifying this type of material.

On his podcast, Bryce Mitchell started his rant by stating:

“I honestly think that Hitler was a good guy. Based upon my own research, not my public education indoctrination. I really do think, before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy I’d go fishing with. He fought for his country, he wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out that were destroying his country”
