Conor McGregor is now a minority owner of BKFC, as it was announced during the broadcast of KnuckleMania 4.

McGregor has been at BKFC events in the past, but the partnership did come as a bit of a surprise. Although McGregor is only a minority owner, Feldman revealed he has a lot of say, as BKFC wants to use his star power to help bring more awareness to the promotion.

“He’s a minority owner, but he has a lot of say in this company,” Feldman said on Sirius XM’s MMA Today (via MMAMania). “He’s going to be part of the board. So, we’re going to get a lot of usage out of Conor McGregor. And so far, so good. You know, very, very enthusiastic. I just hope things keep moving that way.

“We wouldn’t have gotten Conor McGregor involved to be a silent owner,” Feldman added. “Like, we don’t just want him to be a partner and not say anything, and not do anything, and not help move the needle. We got him involved to really help move the needle for us, to do different introductions, come up with some good ideas. He built himself into superstardom, so hopefully he can help some other fighters do that as well.”

What Conor McGregor will do with BKFC is uncertain, but having him involved in the promotion will no doubt help bring more eyes to the promotion.

Conor McGregor won’t fight in BKFC

Although Conor McGregor is now a minority owner of BKFC, David Feldman says he won’t be fighting for the promotion.

“No, [fighting for BKFC] hasn’t been talked about at all,” he said. “It’s not part of this deal. Him and UFC go together very well, and he’s he’s going ride that out. I guess we’ll see what happens after that. But, right now, he wants to obviously get these two fights over with, create a lot of viewership, and make a lot of money.”

McGregor is under contract with the UFC and is set to return at UFC 303 on June 29 against Michael Chandler. It’s an intriguing fight, but after he fights out his UFC contract, Feldman isn’t ruling out him competing at BKFC.

Charles Oliveira calls for Conor McGregor after UFC 302 I've asked to fight him 1,000 times

Plotting his own respective route back to lightweight gold, former division champion, Charles Oliveira hopes to stand opposite Conor McGregor in his return to the Octagon – picking the Dubliner to prevail with a win at UFC 302 at the end of June.

Oliveira, the current number two ranked lightweight contender, returned at UFC 300 earlier this month in an officially-billed title-elimonator clash with the surging Arman Tsarukyan on the event’s main card.

And suffering a close, contentious split decision loss to the Armenian, Oliveira questioned how his search for numerous submission attempts including tight guillotine and D’Arce choke variations, was beaten out on the judge’s scorecards en route to a defeat.

As for McGregor, the former duel-division champion is finally set to make his first outing inside the Octagon in almost three years, taking headlining honors at UFC 302 at the end of June, in a welterweight scrap against rival, Michael Chandler during International Fight Week.

Weighing up a slew of potential rematches in the aftermath of UFC 300, Sao Paulo fan-favorite, Oliveira suggested a re-run with both Justin Gaethje, and recently-minted BMF titleholder, Max Holloway in his return.

And furthermore, a potential clash with Dublin star, McGregor also appears to be at the forefront of Oliveira’s wishlist – who claims he has campaigned continually to land a fight with the former two-weight gold holder.

“I think Conor (McGregor) [beats Michael Chandler at UFC 303],” Conor McGregor told Full Violence during a recent interview. “Man, everyone knows – in fact, I’ve asked for this fight against Conor a thousand times.”

“But it’s a fight that I don’t think he wants this fight,” Charles Oliveira explained. “And everyone knows it. I’ve said it a thousand times, it’s a fight that will bring me a lot of money. So, I would like it.”

Who wins in a future fight after UFC 302: Charles Oliveira or Conor McGregor?

Michael Chandler is doing some “plotting” with Machine Gun Kelly ahead of his highly anticipated clash with Conor McGregor.

On Saturday, June 29, the Irish megastar will return to the Octagon for the first time in nearly three years when he headlines UFC 303 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. With their scrap just a few weeks away, ‘Iron’ appears to be playing some mind games with McGregor after posting a picture with Grammy Award-nominated artist Machine Gun Kelly.

McGregor and MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, nearly threw hands during a brief interaction at the MTV Music Awards in 2021. To this day, nobody knows what caused the near-scuffle, but rumors immediately began flying that the animosity was the result of McGregor allegedly sending a direct message to Kelly’s girlfriend, actress Megan Fox.

However, representatives for McGregor have denied that narrative.

Recently, Chandler posted a picture with Kelly in what felt like a pretty clear dig at McGregor.

Michael Chandler and MGK taunting Conor McGregor

“63 days…. Plotting with ?@machinegunkelly,” Chandler wrote on X.

After Kelly opted not to comment on his interaction with McGregor, the Irishman told Entertainment Tonight”

“Absolutely nothing happened. I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy. Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”

McGregor reignited his rivalry with MGK after the incident, commenting on a video of Kelly riding a skateboard on social media. “Watch out guys we got a badass over here,” McGregor wrote in a since-deleted post.

Conor McGregor isn’t the only UFC fighter Machine Gun Kelly has had a bad experience with

It’s certainly not the first time that Machine Gun Kelly has had a run-in with a former MMA world champion. While attending a Power Slap event during Super Bowl weekend, Sean Strickland took issue with Kelly’s attire, telling him to “dress like a f*cking man” and likening him to a vampire.

“I don’t know who the f*ck that guy is,” Strickland tells the cameraman before yelling, “I’m easy to find, vampire man.”

Strickland offered some additional insight into the incident on his YouTube channel.

“I met some good people. Cowboy [Cerrone] was there. I met a vampire, apparently [the] guy dating Megan Fox,” Strickland said of meeting MGK. “You had some Transformers with a broken down car. I don’t know what happened to Megan Fox, but something happened to Megan Fox.

“I don’t know who did it, but I wanna find that man. I wanna have a conversation with him ’cause me and you, dude, we’re not cool. I meet this vampire-like, ‘Dude, you wake up every day and you dress like a vampire.’ I don’t know if he does or doesn’t. Maybe just a wardrobe. But dude, you dress like a vampire man. You look like the goth kid on South Park. And you go out in the world like this, like this only happens because you are in an insulated bubble” (h/t LoudWire).
