Ahead of his scheduled August 6. professional boxing return against the undefeated, Jake Paul, former reality tv star, Tommy Fury has confirmed that he has been denied entry to the United States by immigration officials, ahead of a slated press conference on Wednesday in New York City.

Fury, the younger brother of reigning WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury – also saw his elder sibling denied boarding on two separate flights from Manchester and Liverpool to the United States over the course of the last week, amid links with reputed cartel boss and drugs baron, Daniel Kinahan

Attempting to secure two separate flights to the United States in recent weeks, Tyson Fury was denied travel by immigration officials, amid his links with the aforenoted, Kinahan, who the United States Office of the Treasury placed a reward of up to $5,000,000 on back in April. Kinahan, a native of Dublin has been previously named as the leading operator of the transnational drugs and weapon cartel, KOCG (Kinahan Organized Crime Group).

Tommy Fury confirms he has been denied entry to the United States

Expected to appear at a high-profile press conference alongside Ohio native, Paul on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden ahead of an August professional boxing match, Tommy Fury confirmed on his official Instagram that he was denied entry to the United States by immigration officials.

“Me and my team arrived at Heathrow Airport ready to fly out and as soon as I entered the airport I was pulled to one side and told by a Homeland Security Officer that my ESTA had been denied and that I wasn’t able to travel to the USA for a reason that I apparently know,” Tommy Fury said in a video on his Instagram Stories.

“I can stand here and say I have done nothing wrong and I have no clue why I’m not allowed to travel to the USA,” Tommy Fury said. “I’ve been training for a fight this whole time and that’s all I’ve been doing. I have no clue why I’m not allowed to travel and neither does my team or my lawyers.”

“Now I’ve got to go to the embassy trying to resolve it and I’m in the middle of training,” Tommy Fury continued. “I don’t know why this has happened, a huge shock to me and my team. It’s government issues and it’s a lot bigger than this fight right now and I’m trying to get it sorted.” (Transcribed by Irish Mirror)

Fury’s father, John Fury, who is also banned from entering the United States, confirmed last week in a video that his son, Tyson Fury, as well as other members of the team were denied entry to the United States and were suspended from entering the country for an unknown period of time.

“You (Jake Paul) can have it on the sixth of August but it’s got to be not in America because all of us (sic), I’ll be honest with you, are suspended and banned for life, I can’t get to you at all, Tyson can’t get to you because he’s a got a few issues at the moment so Tommy’s got no team.”

Undisputed  WBC heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury has reportedly once again been denied boarding on a flight from Manchester to the United States for the second time in just over a week, amid his links and prior business dealings with reputed drugs baron and cartel leader, Daniel Kinahan

Tyson Fury, a native of Manchester, attempted to secure a flight from Liverpool to the United States eight days ago as per an initial report from Sunday World investigative journalist, Nicola Tallant, however, was unable to acquire authorization to make a trip to New York.

This Saturday afternoon, The Irish Sun crime editor, Stephen Breen reported that Fury had once more been denied boarding on a flight from Manchester to the United States.

“BREAKING – Tyson fury has been refused access to the US for the second time after trying to board a flight from Manchester yesterday. Full story to follow @IrishSunOnline.”

Tyson Fury was reportedly turned away by immigration officials in Manchester

According to a latter report from The Irish Sun, Fury was turned away from the Manchester flight by immigration officials.

“He tried to board another trans-Atlantic flight but the immigration officials told him to wasn’t allowed on the plane. He wasn’t happy with the decision but accepted it and then left.”

Ahead of his most recently professional boxing match back in April, Fury, a former client of the Kinahan co-founded agency firm, MTK Global, refused to be drawn on questions on his relationship with the Dubliner, before a Wembley matchup against Dillian Whyte.

In the same month, Kinahan, the reputed leader of the KOCG (Kinahan Organized Crime Group) along with his father, Christopher Kinahan Sr. and his brother, Christopher Kinahan Jr. – were each named by US authorities and the Office of the Treasury at a press conference in Dublin, with rewards in the region of $5,000,000 offered for information leading to the financial disruption of the transnational crime group as well as the arrest of it’s leading members.

During this week, Fury’s father, John confirmed that both himself and Tyson Fury were experiencing “a few issues” in attempting to make their way to the United States for a Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight in August.

Fury, the current undisputed WBC heavyweight champion, headlined at Wembley Stadium back in April, successfully retaining the WBC and Ring heavyweight titles with a sixth round knockout win over Dillian Whyte.

Tyson Fury refused to be drawn on questions of his relationship with Daniel Kinahan back in April

Ahead of the bout, however, Tyson Fury, a native of Manchester and prominent client of the now-defunct, MTK Global, spoke candidly of his relationship with alleged drugs baron, Kinahan – who was sanctioned by United States authorities earlier that month alongside his father, Christopher Kinahan Sr. and younger brother, Christopher Kinahan Jr.

As per an initial report from Sunday World investigative journalist, Nicola Tallant, Fury, amongst a host of other boxers, were denied entry to the United States amid links with the aforenoted, Kinahan – with the WBC heavyweight champion alleged to have been denied boarding on a flight from Manchester to the United States.

Further reports detail how Tyson Fury and other former MTK Global represented boxers and combatants had attempted to book flights and travel to the United States in a bid to “test the waters” regarding their ability to successfully travel.

Ahead of Katie Taylor’s historic Madison Square Garden appearance against Amanda Serrano in May, Sky Sports boxing analyst and pundit, Matthew Macklin was denied boarding to the United States for the New York event amid his links with Kinahan.

Macklin, a former professional boxer, founded MTK Global (Mack The Knife Global) (Originally Macklin’s Gym Marbella (MGM)) back in 2012 alongside Dublin native, Kinahan. It has been reported over 600 figures, including the aforenoted, Fury has been placed on a list of banned travel amid their links with KOCG (Kinahan Organized Crime Group) leader Kinahan.

In April, a reward of up to $5,000,000 was placed on each of the leading Kinahan Organized Crime Group members; Christopher Sr., Christopher Jr., and Daniel – for information which would lead to the financial disruption of the transnational organized crime group and the arrest of the cartels leading figures and operators.

Since his victory over the aforenoted, Whyte, Tyson Fury has insisted he has retired from professional boxing, but still remains the undisputed WBC heavyweight champion, amid links to an eventual title fight against either Oleksandr Usyk, or Anthony Joshua.

Tyson Fury’s promoter, Frank Warran responded to reports detailing how his client was denied entry to the United States, maintaining that he was unaware of such an issue.

“I don’t know,” Frank Warran told TalkSport’s Fight Night programe. “What I read was that he (Tyson Fury) went to an airport and was refused to get on. As far as I understand, he didn’t go to any airport yesterday and was in Liverpool to see his cousin fight. I haven’t spoken to him today (Saturday). That’s news to me.”

Last week, the CAB (Criminal Assets Bureau) gained approval to serve papers to Daniel Kinahan by registered post after they had discovered addresses for the Dubliner in Dubai after a press release from the United States Office of the Treasury.

Kinahan, along with a KOCG associate, Thomas ‘Bomber’ Kavanagh are alleged to have provided suitcases containing €4.5 million to the late, Jim Mansfield, in order to be invested in the property market for the cartel.

The alleged deal between the cartel and Mansfield would later collapse following the economic downturn, however, Mansfield’s son, Jim Mansfield Jr. is alleged to have struck a deal with the cartel following the collapse of the initial agreement, which would see them receive a property at Coldwater Lakes in Saggart, Dublin.

Mansfield Jr. is currently serving a two-year prison sentence after he was convicted of attempting to pervert the course of justice at a January hearing by ordering the destruction of CCTV footage, in relation to a 2015 kidnapping by former Republican terrorists.

Top Rank’s Bob Arum Says Daniel Kinahan Is ‘Involved In Nefarious Activities Of The Worst Kind’

Bob Arum, a prominent boxing promoter and founder of leading promotion, Top Rank, has said reputed drugs baron and cartel leader, Daniel Kinahan is involved in “nefarious activities of the worst kind” after the Dubliner was sanctioned by the United States Department of the Treasury earlier this month.

Arum, who turned 90 years of age back in December, revealed he has cut all ties with Kinahan following the alleged cartel leader’s sanctioning by the United States Department of the Treasury earlier this month during a press conference at Dublin City Hall, however, confirmed that he had paid millions of dollars to Kinahan in consultancy fees for recent fights involving WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, against Otto Wallin, Tom Schwarz, and fights against Deontay Wilder.

Earlier this month, Daniel Kinahan, his father, Christopher Kinahan Sr., and his brother, Christopher Kinahan Jr. were all sanctioned by the United States Department of the Treasury and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, with a bounty of up to $5,000,000 placed on each of the leading member’s for information which leads to the financial disruption of the cartel, or the arrest and conviction of the leading members.

Daniel Kinahan was previously named as the controller and manager of the Kinahan Organized Crime Group

In 2018, Daniel Kinahan was named in the Irish High Court as the controller and manager of the Kinahan Organized Crime Group (KOCG) – a cartel which has been described as transnational and specializes in the trafficking of drugs and weapons.

Daniel Kinahan, along with former professional boxer, Matthew Macklin, founded boxing and mixed martial arts management firm, MTK Global back in 2012, and have represented numerous prominent fights in both sports, including the aforenoted, Fury, and UFC middleweight contender, Darren Till.

Earlier this month, MTK Global released an official statement confirming that they would be ceasing operations at the end of April, amid “unfair scrutiny” and “criticizm” following the sanctioning of Kinahan, once again denying any links to the reputed cartel leader.

When questioned this week about his working relationship with Kinahan despite reports of his involvement with drug trafficking and gangland violence, Arum claimed Kinahan had told him he was a “reformed” man.

“MTK (Global) – we did work with them,” Bob Arum told FightHype.com. “(Daniel) Kinahan had told us that while years ago he may have done things wrong, he was reformed and his involvement in boxing would demonstrate that he was reformed.”

“We have since learned that that isn’t the case, at least as far as the US charges are concerned, which you take very seriously,” Bob Arum continued. “ He’s continued to engage in nefarious activities of the worst kind, which is drug trafficking. So obviously we’ve had nothing to do with Kinahan and MTK for quite some time and indeed I began to suspect that something was wrong a number of months before the US government announcement. And hadn’t talked to Kinahan for a long time before the US announcement.” (Transcribed by the Sunday World)

WBC President Describes Dubai Meeting With Daniel Kinahan As An ‘Innocent Mistake’

Daniel KinahanMauricio Sulaiman, the president of the WBC (World Boxing Council) has described a recent meeting with reputed cartel leader, Daniel Kinahan, as an “innocent mistake” – after the latter was sanctioned by the United States Department of the Treasury, and a bounty of up to $5,000,000 also placed on the alleged drugs baron. Mauricio Sulaiman, the president of the WBC (World Boxing Council) has described a recent meeting with reputed cartel leader, Daniel Kinahan, as an “innocent mistake” – after the latter was sanctioned by the United States Department of the Treasury, and a bounty of up to $5,000,000 also placed on the alleged drugs baron.

Sulaiman, who appeared at Wembley Stadium over the course of last weekend, watching on as defending WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury successfully defended the governing bodies title with a sixth round knockout win over Dillian Whyte.

Responding to the surfacing of a picture taken back in March alongside Daniel Kinahan and promoter, Ahmet Oner, Sulaiman described the meeting in Dubai with the Kinahan Organized Crime Group leader as an “innocent mistake”.

“Whilst visiting Dubai recently I was introduced to Daniel Kinahan, who has since been place on a sanctions list by the US Treasury Department, concerning alleged links to drug crimes,” the statement from WBC president, Sulaiman read. “This has generated speculation and attacks on myself and the WBC. I, therefore, feel it necessary to make it clear that at no time have we had any relationship with Daniel Kinahan.”

“The World Boxing Council deals solely and exclusively with boxing promoters and only they maintain commercial relations in the certification of fights for our titles. The WBC has had for many years a large number of social responsibility campaigns focused on the prevention and awareness of the dangers of drug use. We have a wonderful program of talks given by a former DEA agent, Rocky Heron, who reaches thousands of people with his presentations. We have rescued many boxers and members of the boxing community around the world from the demons of addictions and we openly and constantly support rehabilitation clinics such as those of Julio Cesar Chavez and Aaron Silva, among others.”

“I made an innocent mistake, due to absolute ignorance of the situation. In this way, I confirm that the World Boxing Council and all its members absolutely reject any action that is detrimental to human beings and we will continue, as always, in total compliance with the laws of all countries in the world.”

Earlier this month at Dublin City Hall, sanctions were placed on Daniel Kinahan, his father, Christopher Kinahan Sr. and his brother, Christopher Kinahan Jr. – with a reward of up to $5,000,000 provided for information which would lead to the transnational organized crime group’s financial disruption, as well as the arrest and conviction of it’s sanctioned members.

Daniel Kinahan, who founded MTK Global alongside former professional boxer, Matthew Macklin back in 2012, was denied as having any ties with the boxing and professional mixed martial arts management firm since 2017, with the firm echoing those claims in a statement released last week where they confirmed they would be ceasing operations at the end of April due to “unfair scrutiny”

“As a business, we have faced unprecedented levels of unfair scrutiny and criticism since the sanctioning by the US Government of Daniel Joseph Kinahan,” the official MTK Global statement read.

“It is a matter of public record that Mr. Kinahan’s involvement in MTK ceased in 2017, and despite repeated reassurances in this regard, unfounded allegations about his ongoing association with us and our fighters persist.”

“Since leading promoters have now informed us that they will be severing all ties with MTK and will no longer work with our fighters, we have taken the difficult decision to cease operations at the end of this month.”

“MTK prospered because we always put the long term interests of our fighters at the heart of what we do. Our priority in the weeks ahead will be to ensure that our world-class boxers are supported to find new partnerships as swiftly as possible.”

“MTK gyms are operated independently so will remain open for the foreseeable future. Further announcements will be made in due course.”

“Thank you to all fans who have supported us over the last decade.”

Last week, the UAE (United Arab Emirates) also placed a freeze on assets of the Kinahan Organized Crime Group in the region, releasing a statement confirming that they have launched their own investigation amid the sanctioning of its members.

“In the case of the Kinahan Organized Crime Group, the UAE has been working proactively on its own investigations, and as a result of this all relevant assets have been frozen,” The statement read. “The UAE will continue to pursue its own investigations, and work in close collaborations with relevant authorities in the US, UK, Ireland and Spain on this case.”

Mauricio Sulaiman also claimed there was nothing to hide in relation to his meeting with Daniel Kinahan

During an interview with UAE channel, SNTV, the aforenoted, Sulaiman insisted there was nothing to hide relating to his meeting with Daniel Kinahan.

“There’s nothing to hide,” Mauricio Sulaiman said. “Neither the WBC nor myself nor any member of the WBC has had or has any dealings with Daniel Kinahan. I’m president of a world organization. I meet hundreds of people every time I travel and I’m always open to talk about boxing and anyone who supports or wants to support boxing will have the WBC ears of support.”

“So, if you want to call it naive or a mistake that I made, that could be it but I have absolutely nothing to hide, nothing to regret, and absolutely no worries. I have not seen any wrongdoings. I’ve never seen a fight fixed. Unless we get more information or there’s things that are discovered, it has nothing to do with boxing. Zero. Absolutely nothing to do with boxing.”

Sulaiman further claimed that sanctions imposed against Daniel Kinahan was not a “major situation” in the world of boxing.

“I can certainly see that it has a great impact in Ireland and (the) UK geographically and because of the news… but there’s much more to any sport than just one person.” (Transcribed by Sunday World)

MTK Global, a boxing and mixed martial arts management firm founded by ruptured cartel boss, Daniel Kinahan as well as former professional boxer, Matthew Macklin – have confirmed this Wednesday lunchtime that they are ceasing operations at the end of April.

In a lengthy statement released this hour, the management firm once more denied its links with alleged drugs baron, Daniel Kinahan – claiming that the Dubliner had stepped away from the firm in any capacity since 2017, insisting that since his sanctioning earlier this week, they have been met with “unfair scrutiny” and “criticizm”.

“As a business, we have faced unprecedented levels of unfair scrutiny and criticism since the sanctioning by the US Government of Daniel Joseph Kinahan,” the official MTK Global statement read.

“It is a matter of public record that Mr. Kinahan’s involvement in MTK Global ceased in 2017, and despite repeated reassurances in this regard, unfounded allegations about his ongoing association with us and our fighters persist.”

“Since leading promoters have now informed us that they will be severing all ties with MTK and will no longer work with our fighters, we have taken the difficult decision to cease operations at the end of this month.”

“MTK gyms are operated independently so will remain open for the foreseeable future. Further announcements will be made in due course.”

“Thank you to all fans who have supported us over the last decade.”

MTK Global co-founder, Daniel Kinahan was sanctioned by the US Government last week

Last week, the United States Department of the Treasury as well as the Office of Foreign Assests Control issued sanctions against Daniel Kinahan, his father, Christopher Kinahan Sr. and his brother, Christopher Kinahan Jr. – and placed a bounty of $5,000,000 on each member for information which would lead to the financial disruption of the transnational Kinahan Organized Crime Group (KOCG), or the arrest and conviction of it’s leading members. Daniel Kinahan was previously named in the Irish High Court as the manager and controller of the Kinahan Organized Crime Group.

At the time of their ceasing of operations, MTK Global represent numerous, prominent fighters in both professional boxing and mixed martial arts.

Amongst those represented by MTK Global are current WBC heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury, UFC middleweight contender, Darren Till, as well as UFC welterweight, Mounir Lazzez to name a few.

Ahead of Fury’s heavyweight title defense against Dillian Whyte this weekend at Wembley Stadium, he insisted that any relationship he had with Daniel Kinahan was nobody else’s business.

Following UFC Vegas 51 last weekend, MTK Global managed, Lazzezz issued a shout out to Daniel Kinahan, thanking him for his advice during his professional career, and labelled him a “brother” and “advisor”. Lazzezz insisted when pressed on the issue of issuing a callout to a reputed cartel leader, that he was not aware of sanctions imposed against Daniel Kinahan.
