Dominick Reyes fully intends on being the next challenger for Jon Jones’ light heavyweight crown.

Reyes seems to be next in line for a title shot following his impressive TKO victory over Chris Weidman at UFC Boston last week. It took his UFC record to 6-0 while he remains undefeated overall at 12-0.

However, another fighter who wants to challenge Jones is Johnny Walker. The Brazilian has had a meteoric rise in the promotion with three knockout wins so far. He notably takes on Corey Anderson — another fighter who wants Jones — at UFC 244 next month.

Following UFC Boston, Walker called out Reyes on social media. However, with Jones lacking motivation in fighting any light heavyweight contender, Walker decided to reply to him with a friendly warning.

Jones vs. Walker is a fight that many have been intrigued by and it’s certainly a possibility if the latter gets past Anderson. However, Reyes is not having any of it. “The Devastator” believes the fact that he is unbeaten should give him the nod over any other contender:

“You can walk your ass to the back of the regular people line,” Reyes responded. “I’m in the undefeated line. That means front of the line pass, Son!”

Do you think Reyes deserves to face Jones next? Or should he face the winner of Walker vs. Anderson?

Dominick Reyes feels he’s the next rightful challenger for Jon Jones’ light heavyweight throne. Reyes comes off a vicious first-round knockout win over ex-middleweight king Chris Weidman at UFC Boston.

Now, Reyes is looking to do what nobody else has done in mixed martial arts (MMA) history – and that’s beat Jones inside an MMA cage. However, the Jones camp doesn’t seem to be too interested in a fight with Reyes. In fact, Jones recently took to Twitter to suggest that he wants to get in on the super fight trend that has been taking place over the past several years.

“Really not sure when I’ll be fighting next, feel like I have nothing to gain by beating Dominic. I’ve actually felt that way about my last two opponents. I want a super fight.”

Of course, that didn’t sit too well with Reyes, who took to Twitter to respond to Jones’ recent comments. Reyes suggested Jones defend or vacate his title if he’s going to be complacent about who and when he fights.

In response to Jones asking where all the big names at light heavyweight went, Reyes responded by saying, “They got knocked out.”

Reyes then took a shot at Jones’ dedication and motivation to still be the best in the world at 205 pounds.

“This guy over here with no motivation to be the best. “

Do you think Jones will take on Reyes next inside the Octagon?

Dominick Reyes is eyeing a fight for the title and against Jon Jones after his latest win.

Reyes is coming off of a first-round knockout over Chris Weidman in his first UFC main event at UFC Boston on Friday. The win made him a perfect 12-0 and 6-0 inside the Octagon. He believes he deserves the title shot and when he takes on Jon Jones, he has a simple message for him. Bring the belt, not any special sauce.

“Jon has a bad habit of letting his habits get the best of him,” Reyes said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show (via MMA Mania). I don’t want any part of that, I just want the belt. Let’s party, do it in the Octagon. Just bring the belt, don’t bring anything else,” he said.

“Don’t bring any of your special stuff, your special sauce, as they would say. Just bring your belt, that’s all I want. Let’s run it bro, see who falls. If you want to talk all that, let’s run it if you want the smoke, let’s run it.”

Of course, the special sauce means the drug failures Jones has had in his past. He has been suspended, stripped of his title and had events moved due to the failed drug tests. So, Dominick Reyes makes it clear he doesn’t want any part of that when they fight.

If he does fight the light heavyweight champion next. Dominick Reyes is certain he will win the fight as he says he has been training for Jon Jones for years.

“I’ve been training my whole life to fight Jon. In the beginning, I started training to fight Jon. I am getting better, and better and better and I am ready to step in there with this man,” he said. “He is just a man, a regular man. He wasn’t even athletic enough to play on his high school football team. Like, come on.”

Whether or not he will get the shot at Jon Jones is to be seen as Johnny Walker vs. Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz vs. Ronaldo Souza all could get the next shot depending on the outcomes.

Do you think Dominick Reyes can beat Jon Jones if they fought?
