Footage has emerged over the weekend, of a Michael Jackson impersonator on the Las Vegas, Nevada strip – subduing a man who appears to be intoxicated, utilizing a swift outside trip before eventually wrapping up a bulldog choke, and an omoplata.

Shared on Twitter by podcaster, Marcus Deegan, the Michael Jackson impersonator receives a frail outside leg kick attempt from the intoxicated man – who is sporting a green t-shirt, with the text, ‘Can’t Fix Stupid’, before securing a swift takedown courtesy of a well-timed outside trip.

Initially stacking the guard, the Michael Jackson impersonator soon establishes full-mount with very little defense from the man, now on bottom position, appears to be attempting to grab the Jackson impersonator’s jacket lapel, almost as if it were the collar of a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gi.

However, unable to maintain control, the Jackson impersonator quickly attempts to lock up a mounted triangle, and even threatens to tie up an armbar to boot – reminiscent of Amanda Nunes’ submission win over Megan Anderson last year, before he eventually loses his balance.

Defending by now pulling the locks of the Jackson impersonator, from top position, he elects to bail on the triangle attempt, and during the ensuing scramble, almost takes the back, but fails to establish either hook and instead bellies out his opponent and latches onto a bulldog choke.

The MIchael Jackson impersonator has seen his street fight submission go viral across social media

Shortly thereafter, the Jackson impersonator, with the bulldog choke more than secured, traps the assailant’s right arm between his leg, in a half-hearted omoplata, before bystanders eventually break the scuffle up.

Returning to his feet, after assessing the situation for some time, with teeth gritted, the intoxicated man appears to welcome an immediate rematch, before footage draws to a close.

Footage of the impromptu street fight even received the breakdown treatment from mixed martial arts commentator and analyst, Robin Black who shared his analysis across social media.

With the UFC set for another active period from the Apex facility in Las Vegas in the coming months, who knows if the ‘King of Pop’ impersonator will find himself locked inside the Octagon.

Talk about a triumphant return for Massachusetts striker, Calvin Kattar. Enduring a brutal beating at the hands of former featherweight champion, Max Holloway just a year ago — the #5 ranked contender returned to the Octagon tonight with a vengeance, bloodying, slicing, and battering the promotional-perfect, Giga Chikadze over five gruelling rounds to land his own unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-44) win at UFC Vegas 46.

Managing to capitalize on a slip from Chikadze who had previously landed some blistering kicks in the opening round, Kattar stole the first frame on all three judge’s scorecards with a well-timed takedown, in tandem with some top control.

From rounds two until five, however, the New England Cartel standout established and then further built up a considerable lead over his Kings MMA featherweight counterpart, slicing and bloodying with countless step-in and upward elbows.

Chikadze, hugely fatigued beyond the second round, attempted to fight back, but with constant pressure on the ticket from Kattar, the Tbilisi native faltered for the first time in his eight-fight UFC tenure, as The Bay State product returned to the winner’s enclosure in emphatic fashion.

Detroit Urban Survival

UFC middleweight contender, Joaquin Buckley recently shared footage of himself training alongside, Dale Brown from the Detroit Urban Survival YouTube channel, who is responsible for numerous viral videos in recent weeks, on how to defend yourself from armed combatants.

Buckley, who was slated to meet with fellow knockout artist, Abdul Razak Alhassan at UFC Vegas 46 this weekend, saw the bout fall to the wayside after the latter was forced from proceedings for reasons currently undisclosed. The bout is, however, expected to now take place at a UFC Fight Night event on February 28. instead.

Joaquin Buckley holds 10 professional knockout victories across his 17 fight career

The St. Louis native returned to the winner’s enclosure back in September at UFC Vegas 37, stopping Antonio Arroyo with a massive third round knockout. The victory earned Buckley a Performance of the Night bonus.

Posting a near-six minute video on his social media, Buckley, who appeared quite sceptical about the aforenoted, Brown’s ability as a self-defense instructor, was informed of the three main principles thought at Detroit Urban Survival: Escaping, controlling, and lastly, immobilizing threat.

Cook, from Detroit Urban Survival, then demonstrated on Buckley how a threat could be immobilized via a stomp to the assailant’s knee, an eye poke, or the crushing of his hyoid in his neck.

Equipping Buckley with a knife, Cook encouraged the 27-year-old stab him, before eventually disarming Buckley. Demonstrating a hip toss, Buckley, who was taken down onto protective floor mats, remarked, “it ain’t no joke”.

Armed with a handgun, Buckley was once more disarmed as Cook then reversed and pointed the gun at him – leading Buckley to wince in pain as his finger remained in the trigger guard, before jokingly asking Cook, “you want me to pay your bills?”

Buckley then finds himself in a similar position to his infamous Knockout of the Year of Impa Kasangany in July 2020, where he scored a breathtaking spinning back kick knockout, but rather than execute the kick once more in a similar position, Buckley appeared to be immobilized once again.

Rising to notoriety in recent months, Cook, who heads up Detroit Urban Survival had his fair share of critics who question both his approach, and the actual survivability and real-world application of the manoeuvres he is charging his students to learn.

Francis Ngannou

UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou has appeared in the latest teaser trailer for the upcoming February release of Jackass Forever – ahead of the Cameroon knockout artist’s Octagon return this month.

Ngannou, who is slated to headline UFC 270 on January 22. at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, attempts to unify the heavyweight crowns in a title unification clash with interim championship holder, Ciryl Gane.

Francis Ngannou is slated to make his UFC return this month in a title clash with Ciryl Gane

Appearing in the February 4. release of Jackass Forever, Ngannou spoke recently on what he is tasked to carry out in the movie – namely punching one of the cast members in the groin.

“That’s the craziest thing that I’ve ever seen, man.” Francis Ngannou said last year. “I had to punch somebody in the nuts. I did it the first time, (the crew are saying), ‘Listen, man, we know you. People know that you’re the hardest puncher in the world. It wasn’t hard enough.’ I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Like, I’m nervous. I don’t know, I could hurt this guy, did he at least have kids or something already.’”

Appearing in the trailer for the upcoming release of Jackass Forever – Ngannou, sporting a pair of boxing trunks, and what appear to be 16 oz boxing gloves, lines up to punch a member of the cast, who is wearing just his underwear, and hopefully, a protective cup

Set to make his long-awaited Octagon return later this month in California, Ngannou’s last professional appearance came back in March where he headlined UFC 260.

Rematching former two-time heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic, Ngannou avenged his first promotional loss with a thunderous second round knockout to clinch the undisputed heavyweight crown.

Speculation of Ngannou’s future with the organization has been rife ahead of his unification bout with Gane – which incidentally comes as the last on his current contract with the promotion.

Should the Batie native successfully unify the heavyweight titles, he would then be subject to a ‘champion’s clause’ which would tie him to the organization for at least one more fight.

The heavyweight knockout bruiser has recently teased a move to the squared circle, once again outlining his ambitions to professionally box against current WBC heavyweight kingpin, Tyson Fury this year.
