Conor McGregor appeared delighted after bumping into his long-time friend Justin Bieber out in the Bahamas.

The former two-division champion spotted Bieber whilst playing a game of Tennis and couldn’t resist going to catch up with the signer.

‘Notorious’ posted a heartfelt message on his social media following his encounter with Bieber.

‘I always randomly see Justin out of nowhere and just chop it up, I love this kid! Two goats on a cliff sideways, just chopping it up, what’s happenin JB my brotha hahah ? I put it up to the sky this keeps happening, it’s something from above that keeps doing this!’ God bless you my brother, great to see you always. Some serve today! ?’

In what is an unlikely pairing, the two became friends after having spent some time together drinking whisky at the Beverly Hills Hotel back in July.

Conor McGregor Attends Freedom Concert

The pair seem to have such a close bond that the Irishman would be seen the following day attending Justin Bieber’s concert alongside his wife and children.

Conor McGregor shared his thoughts via social media whilst at the venue once again showing support to his friend.

‘With my beautiful family at Justin’s “Freedom” concert. Exactly how big Will Wallace woulda wanted us McGregor’s! Free!’

Bieber would also go onto put up a post himself supporting the Irishman saying:

‘Breakfast of champions. @thenotoriousmma @properwhiskey “its about how you get back up [sic].”‘

Conor is clearly enjoying his time away from the octagon and hopefully recovering well. McGregor is expected to be ready to return to the UFC by the summer and there is plenty speculation surrounding who he will be taking on. As Nate Diaz remains without a fight many believe he is being lined up as McGregor’s dance partner for when he makes a return.

Don’t be surprised if Bieber is in full support of his friend when the Irishmen steps back inside the octagon.

Conor McGregor appears to be living his life to the fullest in the midst of his injury recovery

McGregor is coming off a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier. The lightweight bout headlined UFC 264 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. McGregor got things going with a slew of kicks. Things took a turn when McGregor dropped down for a guillotine and Poirier escaped the submission. “The Diamond” unloaded on ground-and-pound before McGregor was able to get back to his feet.

At the conclusion of the opening frame, Conor McGregor suffered a broken tibia. Poirier was awarded the victory via doctor’s stoppage.

Immediately after the fight, McGregor hurled insults at Poirier and his wife, Jolie. UFC President Dana White has said a fourth bout between the “Notorious” one and “The Diamond” makes sense. First, Poirier is likely due for a shot at UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira.

Despite the circumstances, McGregor appears to be enjoying life with pop star Justin Bieber in Beverly Hills.

McGregor recently underwent successful surgery. He will be on crutches for the next few weeks. McGregor has claimed that he injured his leg prior to the trilogy bout with Poirier.

Poirier recently told Teddy Atlas the moment he realized McGregor’s leg was broken.

“When you’re in the moment in the eye of the storm it’s kind of crazy, so I didn’t know his leg broke cause we both were punching at the same time. He went down then I started punching him. I didn’t know his leg was broke until the bell rang and I started walking away. He was sitting on his butt kind of holding his leg and I saw that his ankle and the leg was kind of hanging.

“There was no resistance, there was no bone there. It was just like a flap of skin there. That’s when I realized, ‘oh he broke his leg.’ As I’m walking to my corner, my cornerman runs in and we make eye contact and I say, ‘he broke his leg, this is over.’ But I didn’t know in the moment that it was broken.”

UFC president Dana White continues to not rule out a celebrity fight between Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise.

Earlier this month, Bieber called out Cruise for a fight and notably tagged White in the tweet. Of course, he would later claim he was just kidding. However, White later revealed he had been contacted by “a couple of real guys” about potentially making the fight happen.

Whether it happens or not, the UFC boss is all in if every party is interested and believes it would be the biggest pay-per-view of all time:

“I should have known this was going to be the first question,” White said at a recent Q&A (via MMA Junkie). “Listen, if I can make that fight, I’d be all over that fight. It’d be the biggest pay-per-view in the history of pay-per-view.”

“It is true,” White continued when asked if he was contacted about making it happen. “As crazy as that sounds, that is true. … I don’t want to use any names, but I was at home on a Sunday, and I got a call with two big guys on the phone. They were telling me this could possibly happen and this could be real. I’m like, there’s no way that this is really going to happen. But if it does, call me back. I’m in.”

As ridiculous as it may sound, it’s hard to see White passing up on the opportunity to promote the fight. After all, it’s two worldwide celebrities and even if it ends up being a train wreck, the money involved would be massive according to White:

“Oh my god, it would be massive,” White added. “It would be massive. Everybody laughed when we talked about this, so you’ve heard of it. Who wouldn’t watch that? Everybody would watch it. It’s a complete train wreck, and I love it, and I’m in. I’m in. …I can’t even believe this is what we’re talking about right now.”

Dana White isn’t playing around when he says he’s open to booking a celebrity mixed martial arts (MMA) fight between Tom Cruise and Justin Bieber.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, White revealed that he recently received phone calls from “a couple of real guys” who suggest Tom Cruise would do the fight. If both parties are open to it, White would like to book Bieber vs. Cruise inside the Octagon:

“So I’m going to tell you something interesting,” White said. “So, obviously this thing came out – lots of people will talk about fighting somebody in the UFC and things like that – whether it’s NFL players or celebrities or whatever. It happens a lot. So, obviously I saw it like everybody else did, and I didn’t pay much attention to it. The thing with – you know, it picked up a lot of steam and it was everywhere.

“I’m not going to say any names, but I’m just gonna tell you that I got a phone call from a couple of real guys, who said that they really do want to do this fight, and they believe that Tom Cruise would do the fight. And I told them, I’ll tell you this, if that’s true and everybody involved in this thing wants to do it, we can talk.”

When pressed on if he’d truly book Bieber vs. Cruise, White claimed he’d be an idiot not to. He also said it’d be the easiest fight of his career to promote. He no longer doubts any fight is possible after the madness that was Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor:

“Let me tell you what, I’d be an idiot not to make this fight,” White said. “I didn’t think the Floyd-Conor fight was gonna happen and it did. Let me tell you what, anything is possible these days. Anything is possible. That would be the easiest fight to ever promote, in the history of my career.”
