Khabib Nurmagomedov open to putting an end of bad blood with former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor. This is an interesting idea by the UFC lightweight champion due to everything that has gone on between the two stars.

Back in April during fight week of the UFC 223 pay-per-view event, McGregor and several members of his entourage decided to fly from Ireland to Brooklyn, New York, to get revenge on Nurmagomedov.

It all started once the UFC lightweight champion got into an argument with McGregor’s training partner, Artem Lobov, earlier that week. This led to McGregor attacking the fighter bus that had Nurmagomedov.

He was arrested as a result and charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief. This drama continued in the lead-up to Khabib vs. McGregor happening at UFC 229. It saw McGregor say some harsh comments about the UFC champion.

McGregor lost to Nurmagomedov in the headliner of UFC 229 from Las Vegas, Nevada. In the fight, Khabib submitted McGregor with what appeared to be a neck crank or face choke.

Khabib Nurmagomedov Willing To Make Peace

The UFC champion spoke with the media in Russia at a press conference on Monday. This is where he talked about potentially putting an end to his rivalry with McGregor (transcript courtesy of MMAJunkie).

“Everything is possible. Just as McGregor and I feuded, so we could reconcile. Who are we not to forgive one another when the Almighty forgives us?”

Nurmagomedov also ruled out the possibility of moving into politics after retiring from MMA despite several Russian athletes making the move.

“I try to stay away from all that,” he said. “The main thing is to have the desire to help people and you don’t have to be a member of parliament to do that.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov addresses some rumors that have been making the rounds about him potentially walking away and going into retirement early. This would be an interesting move for the UFC lightweight champion, who is on top of his division in the Las Vegas-based promotion.

Over the past few weeks, Nurmagomedov’s manager has claimed to have some big and exciting news on the way involving the UFC lightweight champion. What that big news remains to be unseen. However, as a result of this teaser, fight fans have speculated about various things.

The UFC champion spoke with the media in Russia at a press conference on Monday. This is where he talked about the idea he could hang up his gloves.

‘To me every fight is the last fight,’ Nurmagomedov said (H/T to Metro). ‘I feel that in every fight, and then they start calling you and you start getting ready. I have been thinking about it, I’m 30.”

Before Khabib can do anything, he must face his punishment when he finds out actual sanctions from the NSAC later this year. The commission will meet on December 10th to give a decision on his involvement in the UFC 229 brawl with Conor McGregor.

Nurmagomedov continued to state at this presser that he feels that he’s still in the peak of his career. Thus, it’s not time in his mind to hang up his gloves.

‘Life goes on and I don’t want to be beaten. You have to live when you’re on top, and it’s not just me saying this. ‘It’s always been like this. When you’re at your peak, you can never get back to your top form. But for right now, I’m okay. I can go on.’

Khabib’s manager continues to put former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor on blast.

Ali Abdelaziz still has personal issues with McGregor despite the fact that Khabib Nurmagomedov won the fight. The UFC lightweight champion was able to silence McGregor at the UFC 229 pay-per-view event. This is where he submitted McGregor after a dominant performance.

While speaking with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani on his MMA show, Abdelaziz went off on McGregor by stating that if he sees him then he would smack. In fact, he would break his face for talking about his family.

“I want to punch Conor McGregor across his nose and break his face for talking about my family. Khabib got his revenge, but I didn’t.”

This was a fiery rant. At one point, he brought up how he thinks that McGregor’s longtime friend and training partner Artem Lobov should be thankful. Thanking McGregor for keeping him under contract with the UFC.

“If Artem Lobov wasn’t Conor McGregor’s friend, he wouldn’t be in the UFC. It’s that simple.”

This drama all started in the lead up of Khabib vs. McGregor happening at the UFC 229 event. It saw McGregor say some harsh comments about the UFC champion. Although Abdelaziz thinks McGregor is a great promoter, he still sees him as a prostitute despite the fact that he changed the game.

“Conor McGregor has changed the game as far as promotion is concerned. But he is still a prostitute.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Manager Has Big Money Demand For Next Fight

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager is looking to get his client paid big bucks.

The post Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Manager Has Big Money Demand For Next Fight appeared first on LowKickMMA.com.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager is appearing to have what’s best for his client in mind when it comes to his next fight. It’s pretty clear if the UFC wants to see their lightweight champion fight again. But big money will have to be put on the line.

The speculation about who he’d fight next has gone wild. Could Khabib be fighting Conor McGregor for the second time? How about a fight with former UFC middleweight and welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre? Might he change things up with a boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather?

Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, has stated in a recent interview they will fight anyone but it needs to be for the biggest money bout possible.

“Ben Askren, Woodley, none of these guys can touch Khabib,” Abdelaziz told TMZ Sports (H/T to MMAFighting). “Especially if they’re scared to get tired and these guys, they get tired.”

Abdelaziz made it known that he’s worried about getting big money from the UFC that is around the range of $50M to $100M.

“Now, I’m not even worried about Tyron or Ben Askren, I’m worrying about somebody bringing $50M to $100M to the table and none of these guys can bring $200,000 to the table.”

The reason for this is due to the payday that they got for UFC 229 that saw Khabib submit McGregor. McGregor made $3M in base pay. He was rumored to have pulled in upwards of $50M once getting a percentage of the PPV sales. On the flip side, Khabib got a salary of $2M and will have also received a piece of the PPV money.

“Listen, the guy we just fought said he made $50M,” Abdelaziz said. “I think, as a global superstar, Khabib bypass him. You have a guy meeting with Putin and Erdo?an and the other guy selling liquor on the corner store.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov Looking To Be Paid

For Khabib’s manager, he thinks that Khabib’s job is to get as much money as possible not figure out what’s his next fight.

“At the end of the day, maybe a whole bunch of money gets on the table, maybe the rematch. I don’t know. Maybe we’ll give a rematch to the guy we just killed. . . Whatever’s gonna bring Khabib money. This is now my job. It’s not Khabib’s job. Khabib created legacy, 11 years, 27 fights. Right now, money talks, bulls**t walks. That’s it.”

According to his manager, the UFC champ is rich and could retire right now if he wanted to do so. Thus, they will wait it out until the right fight is presented.

“Khabib can retire now. He’s rich. . . But if somebody’s gonna put big paycheck on the table and we can get it done, I don’t care about number one contender, number ten contender. Khabib was number one contender for five years! Conor jumped him, Eddie jumped him, a lot of people jumped him. Right now, it’s about the paycheck.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager is claiming to have some big and exciting news on the way involving the UFC lightweight champion. Although his manager claims to have some good news on the way, the status of the fighter is up in the air.

The reason for that is the expectation is that Khabib could be facing a long suspension by the NSAC (Nevada State Athletic Commission) due to his recent actions. Obviously, a rematch between the UFC lightweight champ and Conor McGregor would be a huge fight. That may have to wait.

Last week, the NSAC held a hearing regarding this incident. At the meeting, it was revealed that they would extend the temporary suspensions given to both McGregor and Nurmagomedov.

McGregor and Khabib must face their punishment when they find out actual sanctions from the NSAC later this year. The commission will meet on December 10th where they will decide the fates of the two UFC stars.

Khabib’s manager Ali Abdelaziz took to Twitter on Sunday where he teased that they’ve got some exciting news on the way.

”We will blow your mind,” he wrote on Twitter. “Big news coming @TeamKhabib.”

What that big news remains to be unseen. However, as a result of this teaser, fight fans have speculated about various things. Could Khabib be fighting McGregor for the second time? How about a fight with former UFC middleweight and welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre? Might change things up with a boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather?

Oh, how fun speculating on such a topic can be so much fun. Time will tell what this teaser actually means.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Uncle Reveals His Fight & Retirement Plans

These plans do not include a rematch with Conor McGregor.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s uncle has revealed the plans that the UFC lightweight champion has place regarding his pro-MMA career.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Uncle Reveals

Alex Nurmagomedov recently conducted an interview with Russian website Sport Express where he brought up how his nephew has a specific idea of how he wants to end his career. Alex did state that Khabib has already been offered $15 million for a rematch against former UFC lightweight and featherweight champ Conor McGregor.

Tony Ferguson Fight

The only problem with that is Khabib not being interested in this fight. Instead, he wants to fight former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson to close out his career and call it a day.

“From the start, they offered him 15 million if he agrees,” Alex Nurmagomedov told Sport Express (via Google Translate). “But Khabib said no. Let Conor stand in line, let him fight with others. Khabib wants to fight Ferguson, and then finish his career.”

Potential Timetable

The reason that the UFC champ wants to fight Ferguson is due to the promotion trying to book a few times in the past. Also, it’s because of Ferguson’s TKO win over Anthony Pettis in the UFC 229 co-main event.

“We planned (a Ferguson fight), but it can pass only if Khabib remains in the UFC,” Alex Nurmagomedov told Sport Express. “Many organizations with large prize funds offered him to sign a contract: Bellator, Akhmat, Fight Night. If Khabib remains in the UFC, then in April or May there will be a battle with Ferguson.”

The Bellator Offer

Alex also addressed the big-money offer made by 50 Cent for Khabib to fight under the Bellator MMA banner that is owned by Viacom. At this time, Khabib will only fight for some big bucks which would be for no than $5 million.

“For $2 million (from Bellator), Khabib will not fight. Now he is ready to go into battle for no less than $5 million. In Bellator we were told to name our amount and they are ready to sign a contract. If Khabib leaves UFC, another eight people can leave with him. I can not list them all, but they are powerful, good fighters. I will not yet call their names. The UFC asked Khabib not to hurry, because they have not yet made a final decision.”
